they have to bring either constructacons and/or dinobots.. Every forum on the internet said they wanted to see them in the next, and not introducing them would just be stupid

WOOO TRANSFORMERS 2!!!

  • 4 weeks later...

The big questions are who will be back and what new characters will we see? Which new heroes and baddies will we get to see on the big screen this time around?

There has been some web speculation that Transformers 2 is already in production, that is not accurate, it's public knowledge that Michael Bay worked on the script during the WGA strike and once it was over it was handed over to the writing trio of Kurtzman/Orci/Kruger. So a lot of prep work has already been done on the film getting ready for the upcoming July start date, the film is definitely gearing up for the intended mid-summer start date.

Now, on with the ROBOT ROLL CALL!

First, the Decepticons will be getting some new help in the form of Constructicons. In the cartoons, their names were Scrapper, Bonecrusher, Scavenger, Mixmaster, Hook and Long Haul. And what do we get when they all combine and form one huge ass robot? That?s right boys and girls, we are going to see DEVASTATOR on the big screen!

A REALLY BIG F***** ROBOT IS COMING!

It's hard to tell what Michael Bay and his merry band of filmmaker friends will be calling the Constructicons in Transformers 2, but the above names will most likely change, especially considering that they used the name "Bonecrusher" in the first film.

I can hardly wait for more confusing special effects surrounding a pathetic weak storyline combined with nonsensical robot-on-robot action and the warped creation/destruction of childhood favourites from the original series.

you know you DON'T have to go see the movie, right?

what i am confused is... weren't bonecrusher and Devastator in the 1st movie...???

I was just about to post that. Devastator was already in the first one.. so wouldn't he already be all the Constructicons?

Exactly, by messing with the names, they have to continue to do so - great!

Why? Do you only know one person on earth named John. The guy in the first movie was Devastator Smith. Transformers 2 will have Devastator Jones. Two completely different characters with the same first name.

Personally though, I would rather not have the Constructicons or Dinobots in this movie. It just seems a little too early to be introducing Power-Rangers-ish gimmicks. At least develop the existing Autobot and Decepticon characters first. Then add in Shockwave and Soundwave and his minions and a few more Autobots. That's more than enough for a second movie.

I totally agree - I mean, after Devastator - where do you go with TF3?

Shockwave would be awesome, but a film about Decipticon political backstabbing wouldn't fill cinemas!

LOL. Reminds me of when I was drunk one time. My fiancee was taking the mickey out of my Transformers on my shelf. I said "Don't mock them, you know nothing about them" (winding her up, playing a geek). She objected, said she knew enough. I said "Name them then, miss smartypants."

"Um... Megatron. Optimus Prime. Soundwave. Jeremy. Clive. Geoff?"

"You can't call a Transformer 'Jeremy'!"

"Why?"

"Uh..."

    • Microsoft now allows you to tweak Visual Studio to new extremes by Usama Jawad Visual Studio 2026 recently netted a powerful feature that finally allows developers to review Git Pull Requests (PRs) directly in the integrated development environment (IDE), without needing to switch to the browser. However, that's not all that Microsoft introduced in the latest version, as it also offered a useful way to customize the IDE to their heart's content. Although Visual Studio 2026 already provides lots of stock themes based on Fluent Design principles, Microsoft understands that people still want to customize them further according to their preferences. The IDE now offers a new configuration page for themes under Tools > Options > Environment > Visual Experience > Theme colors. This allows you to set hex color codes for accent colors, hover states, and more, and apply them without requiring a restart. The Redmond tech giant further says that: Microsoft is also offering granular color tokens that allow you to customize various UX elements like the tab header without impacting the rest of the shell chrome. Your themes are also stored in JSON format in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\VisualStudio\18.0_xxxxxxxx\ColorThemes, which basically enables you to share it with others or override existing themes. This is a major improvement in terms of the user experience powering these customization capabilities. This is because extensions were required to replace the theme, and it was not very easy to make minor adjustments. This theme configuration UX solves this problem and is available in Visual Studio 2026 version 18.7, available here.

    • It's interesting to hear that AI growth is not investor driven.
    • A few weeks ago, I had this same exact issue. Unfortunately, I didn't think of disabling the Secure Boot option in BIOS. I updated my BIOS to the latest version for my MB and it resolved the issue.
    • I have a partial answer, when I used a multi-port usb hub I had degraded speed performance with 3 large external hard drives connected (all having their own power supply). I managed to snag a nice (yet older) USB3 based wavelink docking station cheap / used that has x6 usb 3 ports and almost doubled the speed of the external hard drives transfer rate. This looks to be a slightly upgraded model -https://ebay.io/m/LZtjTy
