So many people have been asking me who she is....

How can anyone not know who she is?!?!?!

This hopefully will be what a Transformers movie should be....big robots kicking the crap out of each other. The only question now is how many times will i see this on opening day?

How can you NOT know who she is? Never seen Battlestar? :p

This film is gonna be EPIC!

don't think so, I just was over at TFW2005 and they are also discussing the same thing. Think about it, Sam and Mikaela just got out of high school?

It's not unheard of. I got married when I was 19 and my wife's older sisters both got married less than a year after getting out of high school. Another older friend of ours got married just before finishing or after getting out of high school. I have a few other friends like this as well, but just pointing out that it's not unheard of :D

We members are fickle creatures :p
Indeed, and when you're into details, it matters :D

I simply can not argue with this :p It's nice to go into detail like this but I had flashbacks of the thread about "The Dark Knight" where they where arguing about what the Joker said. Oh god.. it's coming back now! HELP!

Don't drag up the past :p *pssst.... it was six*

Wonder how many obligatory stomach shots we'll see of Megan's. :)

Trailer was all kinds of awesome and I'm really looking forward to the movie this year.

But what bothers me to this day is Michael Bay telling Megan Fox all she has to do is "look pretty" for the camera. I just don't feel that's the way to get a good performance from your actress. Yeah yeah I know, everyone thinks she can't act. Well how are we gonna find out of all she's doing is looking pretty for the camera???

BTW, I haven't kept up with this thread to much. But...is that Devastator at the end with Optimus hanging on for dear life?

I just remembered something else, dunno if it has been discussed yet though.

Wasn't there a comic in the Transformers universe from like 2002 or something with "The Fallen" in it, who was a servant of Unicron??? My lord, if Bay brings Unicron into the mix, I'll have his children.

I mentioned it earlier in the topic about The Fallen working for Unicron in some past thing, its all on The Fallen's Wiki page, interesting stuff, I defiantly hope they bring Unicron into it, would be a site to watch.

You know, as long as they don't go the Galactus route like in the Fantastic 4, and what was a giant being is now just a cloud..woo, lol.

^ Lol, Galactus was pretty disappointing.

At the beginning, Primus (Cybertron) created 13 transformers who aided him with his battle with Unicron. The Fallen (you don't really know his name before this) was one of those transformers, but he betrayed the other 12 (including Vecta Prime) and Primus and became obsessed with Chaos and serving Unicron. At the end of this battle, The Fallen was sealed in an extradimensional rift along with Unicron himself.

He later escaped and made his way back to Cybertron (this was due to Megatron and Optimus Prime battling it out at the space bridge, which weaked the rift, allowing The Fallen to escape), to initiate the The Unbinding. This is the process of opening the Seal of Primus, which would allow Unicron to become aware again of Primus' location. He wanted to use the sparks of four Transformers (namely Grimlock, Jetfire, Hot Spot and Blitzwing) to open the seal. He met his end when Primus was awakened.

Thats all G1 stuff, and illustrated in The War Within: The Dark Ages.

Movie wise, apparently The Fallen was the person who corrupted Megatron originally, and apparently his face is the basis for the Decepticon logo.

Wootage, this film is gonna rock, and if its a lead on to Unicron (which incidentally I have been going on about since, like forever!) in the final film, this could be my favourite trilogy ever!

    • Yeah, this is absolutely nothing new and EA have done it before. Burnout Paradise, released in 2008, had dynamic advertising billboards that were updated via the internet and targeted people based on location and what EA knew about them from their profile. It was particularly notable for the fact that the Obama presidential campaign ran ads in the game, in an attempt to reach a younger audience who didn't watch broadcast TV any more. It was by no means the first though. Battlefield 2142 from 2006 had the same thing. In fact, Neowin wrote a story about it back then. https://www.neowin.net/news/ba...-in-game-ads-clarification/
    • This is obviously aimed at the education where Apple has lost so much ground to Chromebooks in the last few years, but unless they come up with a comparable management system for education why would anyone switch back?
    • Here's how we arrived at that claim: Note that this is just Play Store downloads. The app is also available on the Galaxy App Store
    • Google Play states the app had more than 50 million downloads. What other metric do you suggest should be used?
    • MSN defined our generation in some ways, kind of like Snapchat and TikTok have done for future generations. I have great memories of the MSN era in the late 90s / early 2000s. In the UK everyone seemed to come home from School and go on MSN for the evening. We didn't really have mobile phones then, so other than going and knocking on your friends door it was a totally new way of interacting with people. I also loved how I could talk to people I’d met playing online games from around the world. Inviting people to NetMeeting and messing about with the shared white board and webcams was pretty fun, even if webcams only ran at a couple of fps over dial-up. All the random things you could do with MsgPlus! were really fun - I suspect that made a few people jump with /shello randomly blasting Mr Hankey out their speakers! Maybe I’m just nostalgic, however I do feel the internet and computers were more fun back then.
