Dayum, Devastator is gonna pwn some sand!

Dunno if this has been talked about in the thread at all, so I'm gonna avoid trouble by spoilering it up. Isn't it funny how Bay said Megatron wouldn't be in this movie, but he is? Tee hee, hee. Loved him coming up from the bottom of the ocean.

Yeah I posted about that about 6 or 7 pages ago how he said he wasn't going to be then in one of the clips the press saw we saw him again!

I think Agent Smith himself doing the voice work kinda confirmed it, even if Bay denied for months and months, heh. But damn, he looked so badass coming up from the bottom of the ocean and all ticked off!

I believe 3 of the Constructicons revive Megs. For sure there is Longhaul.. which is soo badass.

Yes I believe they do revive him. Either that or "The Fallen" has something to do with them being able to revive him. We'll see soon enough. And yeah, I thought that looked like Longhaul omg! It's like my childhood daydreams are all coming true now!

Yeah the second trailer is ****ing amazing, did you guys saw the DEVASTATOR at the end of the trailer? OMG, it is supposed to be a powerful robot of seven Decepticons constructions machines that join together. Its going to kick ass.

Contructicons are nothing new mate, though, they look great in this movie. :p Autobots have got an equal called Dinobots, but they aren't in this movie. Possibly in the third one?

there are lots of combiner transformers, such as Bruticus, Menasor, Devastator, Defensor, Superion, Computron, Predaking and Piranacon.. probably others too! :)

not strictly true... the dinobots don't combine in the same way.. http://transformers.wikia.com/wiki/Beast, but I believe when Devastator first appears in the tv show it fights the dinobots (and potentially loses?)

The Beast is an abomination a combiner from the let's-pretend-this-doesn't-exist an unknown portion of the Generation 1 continuity family

as for the dinobots, they don't really combine.. http://transformers.wikia.com/wiki/Beast

Eventually they will add all these robots, but my guess is this, if they make another transformer 3, we will see more powerful robots and like Devastator, the autobots will also have their own super Robot.

    • Yeah, this is absolutely nothing new and EA have done it before. Burnout Paradise, released in 2008, had dynamic advertising billboards that were updated via the internet and targeted people based on location and what EA knew about them from their profile. It was particularly notable for the fact that the Obama presidential campaign ran ads in the game, in an attempt to reach a younger audience who didn't watch broadcast TV any more. It was by no means the first though. Battlefield 2142 from 2006 had the same thing. In fact, Neowin wrote a story about it back then. https://www.neowin.net/news/ba...-in-game-ads-clarification/
    • This is obviously aimed at the education where Apple has lost so much ground to Chromebooks in the last few years, but unless they come up with a comparable management system for education why would anyone switch back?
    • Here's how we arrived at that claim: Note that this is just Play Store downloads. The app is also available on the Galaxy App Store
    • Google Play states the app had more than 50 million downloads. What other metric do you suggest should be used?
    • MSN defined our generation in some ways, kind of like Snapchat and TikTok have done for future generations. I have great memories of the MSN era in the late 90s / early 2000s. In the UK everyone seemed to come home from School and go on MSN for the evening. We didn't really have mobile phones then, so other than going and knocking on your friends door it was a totally new way of interacting with people. I also loved how I could talk to people I’d met playing online games from around the world. Inviting people to NetMeeting and messing about with the shared white board and webcams was pretty fun, even if webcams only ran at a couple of fps over dial-up. All the random things you could do with MsgPlus! were really fun - I suspect that made a few people jump with /shello randomly blasting Mr Hankey out their speakers! Maybe I’m just nostalgic, however I do feel the internet and computers were more fun back then.
