Prison Break Season 4 Confirmed + Season 3 next air date!

No, you misunderstand.

I'm not saying the show isn't over. (Although that S5 listing is ... odd)

I'm saying that the show wasn't canceled. They just are ending the story at the end of the season.

Its like BSG. The story ended, it wasn't canceled.

Oh right yeah I understand now, I thought you were saying it was surviving haha :p

Internet discussions are confusing sometimes

At the 2009 TV Critics Press Tour, Kevin Reilly told reporters that the series would end with the fourth season. Despite decreasing ratings, Reilly attributed the cancellation to creativity: "The show has just played out. You get to a point creatively where you feel all the stories have been told, and you want to end strong and not gimp out in the end of the season.

Yea.. that's why you shouldn't have made Season 3. Although I will say Season 3 Episode 1 was quite good, but after that it fell apart.

Maybe some network cross-promotion will happen. Since PB is on Fox and the only similar themed show, 24, has already had a few prison episodes, maybe they'll have a Dexter escapes prison season.

So, Prison Break is due to return to US screens in a mere 18 days (not that we're counting...) but that also means the end of the series is nigh (sigh).

In anticipation of the new episodes, we thought you might appreciate a few teasers about what's to come in the final tranche...

* The plan to expose The Company hits a snag when the brothers are framed for a crime they didn't commit. Could they be headed for prison again?

* A few past cast members are rumoured to be returning - and one is an original Fox River inmate!

* Michael is faced with an impossible choice when both Sara and Lincoln's lives are on the line. Will he save his brother or his girlfriend?

* Gretchen, Mahone and T-Bag are among those lucky enough to be alive by the end of the season. Hurrah!

* We're treated to a Prison Break 'movie' after the series finale! The two hour-long shows will see Michael face his most challenging break ever...

Just in case you missed it, here's a trailer for the final episodes of the show.

Prison Break's final two hours might not air on FOX

As if we haven't heard enough bad news about this show. Turns out that the final two hours of everyone's favorite guilty pleasure, Prison Break, might not even air on FOX. The over-the-top drama, which was recently canceled, returns this Friday ("The Mother Lode", 9PM ET on FOX) to air the first of its final six episodes. All of those episodes will air on FOX.

Confused? Keep reading.

As many have heard, Prison Break EP Matt Olmstead and his creative team went above and beyond what was required of them. After the series finale (scheduled to air on May 15th), Olmstead's crew made a finaler(?) series finale, in the form of a standalone two hour telepic that may or may not be related to that woman's prison spin-off that's long been rumored (which isn't happening ... yet).

TV Guide's Matt Mitovich is now reporting that FOX "neither ordered nor scheduled" the telepic (a.k.a. episodes S04E23 and S04E24). In fact, he says, it's gonna be a straight to DVD release. TVShowsOnDVD.com seems to support this claim saying that the tentatively titled Prison Break: The Final Break will be released on July 21st. Hopefully FOX goes ahead and schedules it anyway.

So what does everyone think about this news? Personally, I'm a fan of this show, but here's how I see it - you don't watch Prison Break, you put up with Prison Break. Based on that reasoning alone, I say FOX owes us one. Besides, what could they possibly air instead?

I loved the part where the guy who drove the 18 wheeler called someone and then Michael tries to use his immediately after and has no signal: "Must in the middle of nowhere!" Good ol Prison Break :D

    • Zen Browser 1.21.4b by Razvan Serea Zen Browser is a privacy-focused, open-source web browser built on Mozilla Firefox, offering users a secure and customizable browsing experience. It emphasizes privacy by blocking trackers, ads, and ensuring your data isn't collected. With Zen Mods, users can enhance their browser experience with various customization options, including features like split views and vertical tabs. The browser is designed for efficiency, providing fast browsing speeds and a lightweight interface. Zen Browser prioritizes user control over the browsing experience, offering a minimal yet powerful alternative to traditional web browsers while keeping your online activity private. Zen Browser’s DRM limitation Zen Browser currently lacks support for DRM-protected content, meaning streaming services like Netflix and HBO Max are inaccessible. This is due to the absence of a Widevine license, which requires significant costs and is financially unfeasible for the developer. Additionally, applying for this license would require Zen to be part of a larger company, similar to Mozilla or Brave. Therefore, DRM-protected media won't be supported in Zen Browser for the foreseeable future. • I was using searxng for about a year , self hosted, but results were starting to timeout and eventually it became unusable so I switched to degoog. Much better for my needs, more polished and add-ons like maps and calculations etc

    • Hello, I am not as familiar with AMD CPUs as I am with Intel's, but as I understand it, that's a mid-range CPU from about three years ago.  I would think it to be fine for everyday casual-type use.  A larger SSD might be better, but with storage prices these days that's a decision that has to be carefully thought about.
