None of the communist countries that have ever been in existence have been fair to their populace, there was always a secret police enforcing the state's will etc, and yet you still use the hammer and sickle in your signature. Hypocrisy much?
I had not looked closely at the top poster's sig. He's showing hate symbols relating to communism yet taking stabs at nazism.

If you are refering to the Soviet Union then I agree, however my sig and my name are Yugoslavian. Yugoslavia never did such things and was an active nation of the United Nations providing peacekeeping and was one of the founding members of the Non-Aligned Movement. Just because a nation's ideals follow communism does not mean they are oppressive. To define communism by the actions of a few nations such as the former Soviet Union and North Korea is ridiculous. If we were like that, then I would view the american flag and capitalism as a symbol for world domination, international war, failed states (Iraq), and "Ill nuke u if u dont listen to me".

Also, if any of you took business or history classes you may remember the "ideological timetable"... its a chart going from 1-10... 1 is fascism, 10 is communism. All other ideologies are in between. Socialism is around a 7, while capitalism is around a 3. Democracy (real democracy, not US democracy) is around a 5. Sorry but a nation with 2 parties fighting for power and influenced by corporations is in no way democracy.

Insensitive much?

Yeah im an ass sometimes. Try going to a cemetary for 3hrs.

the majority of atrocities carried out by the Germans in WW2 were carried out explicitly by the SS, not the standard soldiers. You didn't get into the SS by accident, you knew what you were there for and fully endorsed what they were doing. You can't really compare this to being a general soldier following orders.

apologies, thats what I was trying to put across, I just worded it badly. the 'regulars' in service were no different to our 'regulars'.

Most of these people don't know what are they actually "following". They just do it because they are noticed in public. Hate? Very little... Ignorance? Oh yes, that's the problem.

And that link (http://www.juliagorin.com/wordpress/?p=914)

is just insulting my country and my people.

"as happened in Croatia’s 1990s war for independence. "

yeah, you were here? Bombs were falling on your house? Lost somebody in war maybe? Lived with somebody who had to kill someone (enemy on your territory defending your country) and then suffering from PTSP syndrome...

I'm not saying that there were no crimes.. But it's just like saying "allies were bad too, just remember Dresden" (google it if you don't know)

and I don't get it, the picture with text below "“For the Homeland, we are Ready.”

that's bad somehow? If that's true, I wouldn't be living in democracy now and I certainly wouldn't be writing this.

This line from the quote "Most of these people don't know what are they actually "following". They just do it because they are noticed in public. Hate? Very little... Ignorance? Oh yes, that's the problem."

sounds like most Firefox users!!

    • Salesforce to acquire Fin, formerly Intercom, for over $3 billion by David Uzondu Image via DepositPhotos.com Salesforce today announced that it has reached an agreement with customer support software company Fin to buy the company for around $3.6 billion. Salesforce expects the transaction to close in the fourth quarter of its fiscal year 2027, and the acquisition will not change its financial guidance previously announced on May 27. Marc Benioff, CEO of Salesforce, in its press release, claimed that acquiring the startup gives Salesforce an immediate AI agent that resolves support tickets across email, WhatsApp, SMS, and Slack: You might know Fin by its former name, Intercom. If you have ever been on a website or inside a mobile app and noticed a little chat bubble widget floating in the bottom right corner of your screen, often featuring a friendly face and a message like, "Hi! How can we help you today?" you were almost certainly looking at Intercom. Intercom became Fin just last month, transforming itself into an "AI-first" platform that handles customer issues with little need for humans to intervene. The new name originates from the company's highly successful AI customer service agent, which it launched way back in 2023. This digital assistant supposedly resolves about 76% of customer service volume end-to-end on its own, so the business rebranded to match its primary software tool. Fin's new owners, Salesforce, went on an acquisition spree over the last few years, and some of them you might recognize, like its 2020 $27.7 Billion acquisition of Slack. The last few months saw the enterprise giant buy several startups, including m3ter, Momentum, Cimulate, and Contentful. Salesforce said that when the Fin deal pulls through, customers will "deploy AI agents across" various service operations, which will complement Agentforce, the platform that enables businesses to deploy customizable autonomous digital workers.
