Generals Specs?

Recommended Posts

i set it at lowest detail and 800*600 and it works fine (havent checked with fraps yet so i dont know the exact number but its smooth). i know it looks like poop but hey its still better than red alert 2 :)

900mhz amd, 320 meg ram, geforce 2 32mb

my radeon 9700 coming in 3 days woohoo

lol its so funny watchin all you guys, one posts some specs that explicitally saying that these are for the test demo only and all you guys start going on about "ghz you must be joking etc... its funny, READ the full thing before ranting

It's a safe assumption that the test requirements would be the same or very similar than the release ones.

Ah its different for everybloody machine, too many variables

None the less, I contend Id be able to play this game on full detail with my GeForce2

yes thats right, Ive got ram and ghz comming out my ass, and still a geforce2, some might think that the ol card would lag the system in game terms, but I can still Play Unreal3K on High ggraphics settings no worries. Its foliage that kills it :( Considering I just brought a DVD Burner youd think id have enough money to go shell out a bit for a GeForce 3 or something hey? But for some reason im just not seeing agreat need to upgrade the ol card yet. Maybe when I have to use Normal graphic settings to play a game with no lag.

Anyway its tuesday the 11th in Aus, im gonna go check but I have a sinking feeling it isnt out here yet :(

    • Onwards to Windows 12 then lol.
    • There is a long thread (128pgs and counting) that I've been following over at ElevenForums that has a method for updating Secure Boot even if there is no BIOS upgrade. I've used this method and had zero issues. NOTE:  I do not take any responsibility if this or any other Secure Boot method bricks your system -- YMMV!  Read carefully before using!
    • Yes, yes, YES, thank you AMD. Now display audio, night light, cleartype, etc, all work again.
