Neowin Toolbar available

I totally agree with you.

I've tried to work this out some time ago and I've spoke with the author of Avant Browser. It seems that Google Toolbar is supported by AB bacause of some 'engineering'. I don't think this will happen with Neowin Toolbar because it requiers (possible) a lot of work. I'm guessing is the same case with myIE.

However I'm trying something to resolve this issue... just be patient because I don't have much time on my hands right now...

If you don't mind, you could e-mail the developer on how to get your toolbar working in MyIE2. I would really like to see this happen if you have the time as it is a great toolbar, thanks :)

This is a IE toolbar I've developed for Neowin.

I hope you will enjoy it.

Is still beta so be carefully.

When it will be final I will release the code too.

If you have any suggestion or want to report bugs please post them here.

The search option doesn't work at this point and the menu search will search with google

(if you select a text in a page and then right click on it, a menu will appear with Search Neowin)

If you want to create icons for toolbar then the specs for icons are:

every icon is 16x16 (this will change by request)

they are 9 icons that you must put in a bmp file

also notify if you have a transparent color in bmp.

Well... people may change the refresh limit to something very short like 1 second and request floods may occur. IMO, it may not be very wise to release the source code.

but i also know there are options within some of the other broswers, i believe opera, that lets you refresh the page at aninterval. so if you had 10 tabs open, doing the same thing you could also do the same thing. i honestly do not belive it will put that much more noticable strain on the system, but on the other hand i really do not believe that the refresh rate needs to be anything faster ten a minute with the features that are in this bar.

i REALLY am loving this bar, it is very cool from what i can see!

i am currently on a friends computer so i do not want to install it here, but i will DEFINATNLY give this a try when i get back to my computer :-D good work!
