Wish I could use it with MyIE2.. doesn't detect it as a plugin (for instance it detects the Google plugin). But, I installed it just for IE and boy, I am glad that someone finally did it :) Extremely well done! :yes:

(Now all I need is an Astalavista Toolbar and I am content! :devil: )

Works great except for one thing, and i dont know if this is IE or the tool bar. But when i put two bars side by side (the address bar is on the same line as the neowin bar), and then i lock the bars, the neowin bar moves down to the bottom line by its self. Any way i can force it to stay where i put it when its locked?

There is a new build for Neowin Toolbar...now the toolbar is fully customizable.

Download again from here

Now... about Avant Browser(I use this app myself) or myIE support what can I say? If those browsers support IE plugins that it will be ok, but I'm not sure they do.

I've allready sent a mail to [email protected] and I wait an answer...

If someone knows a mail address for myIE please send an email and ask if myIE supports IE plugins...

MyIE has IE plugin support, but for some reason, the Neowin Toolbar doesn't show on the selection screen. I'm not sure why though :(

Ok people... I want to release the final versionon March 4.

Now the toolbar is in beta. So if you want to be a betatester email me at [email protected] . Betatesters will be listed in the about section in the final version...

Come one people... If you like this tool please help me finish it...

Those who want to host a copy of the program should wait until is final... and then just take a copy from my address and put it on your site (but don't ask money for it :) ).

About the source code ...I still want to release it. But if the mods think is not a very good idea I won't. However I've allready put a link in the about box of the toolbar for the initial sources I've use for this project. So if you realy want you can develop one by yourself. If you have question (and if I know how) I will answer.

I'll help with anything I can (I think you know that already), but I don't know anything about programming :(

I only have free webspace provided by AT&T (my ISP) that I can offer, and it's up to you to release the source, but if you do, people could change the refresh rate of the news and start hammering Neowin's server, and that wouldn't be good. That's the only problem that I can think of when you release the code.
