I'm using this theme and I love it. However, is it possible to remove the background image seen in the transparent windows?

Nope, that's part of the theme. If you move the window around you'll notice that it changes also.

Can anyone help with my question a few posts above this one? I'd really like my user pic to be half on/off the start menu.

Yes I can take the image out of the background. No problem at all. :)

I just have to modify the stream file.

Are you running Vista Ultimate?

Doubt that would have anything to do with why your user pic is all the way inside the menu.

Yeah, it`s possible to make almost any element of Vista transparent.

The start button can definitely be transparent.

It`s quite a process though.

If you can hold on a bit (meaning maybe a week or so), I will modify Aero Theory some more and do another release.

There were some elements I felt could have been better in the end. Especially the start menu/button.

I`m my own worst critic :D.

Nice theme (Y). The top left corner looks a bit badly done (Could be just me) and if I'm using a double sized taskbar the start button appears in the middle, if it wasn't for these two reasons i would've been using your theme right now :)

Great to hear that downtheory :) Ill wait for it. Just make the start button transparent. Leave the flag but loose the black colour around it.

Yes, I'm running Vista Ultimate 32bit. I was just wondering if there was something I needed to do to make it like that.

I like the Start Button, but I would like to see a thinner Start Menu if that's possible. The default Vista one just seems huge (close to 4.5" wide @ 1280x1024).

Since you pointed that out, I see what you mean, it is rather huge at 1280x1024 resolution.

Thanks for your time and effort. If the menu could be made smaller (maybe 3.5" or 3.75") it would be ok. Of course, once I get a 22" WS monitor it may not be a issue anymore. :)

I figured out why my User Icon is completely in the menu, it's because I have the Taskbar on the side. It'll be half on/off the menu if I put the taskbar at the top or bottom. Although there is plenty of room for it. Just one more quirk of Vista I suppose. :laugh:

A lot has come up in my personal life that`s preventing me from working on VS`s as much as I`d like to.

Only if I had a better computer that could run Vista (my laptop can run Vista, but very slowly (despite being middle-of-the-road 3 years ago)).
