There is a Season 8

WOO!!!

well basically, after season six, i heard that they had been contracted to do 2 more "days", so that would take it to season 8 also, and also a film on the side, but major issues on the script lol, trying to get that into a 90ish min film would be as hard as.

so i guess thats awesome that we get another 24 episodes, but you sort of know that Jack is going to survive right? i mean, 24 = Jack Bauer to be fair...

also, do you have a source confirming season 8 by any chance? not any spoilers or stuff, just confirmation? cheers rappy, you're a cool dude.

Yep I posted this a few pages back :)

Tedious? Are you a crack addict? Because only crackheads would think this season is tedious.

haha, nope... but i'm just thinking they are beating a dead horse by dragging 24 out to 8 seasons!

it used to be great because it was extremely unpredictable and main characters would die etc, but now that the 24 'style' isn't so novel, and audiences are actively expecting twists it just seems a bit meh..

having said that though, i've got to the stage now that because i've seen all the other seasons, you can't really stop so i'll just see it out :)

as an example, i was watching it the other night (the ep where they destroy the rockets) and pretty much the exact thought that went through my head was "ok, there are 6 or 7 hours of the day left, how are they going to tenuously think up a way to link yet ANOTHER enemy to the plot"

this season seems to have no proper flow, as if the "dubaku chapter", "juma chapter", & "hodges chapter" were all written by different people and then glued together

anywho, just my opinion! night night :D

Yeah, I agree with everything you said. But maybe the crackhead is me, because I really don't want the series to finish :/ I just think that it's very entertaining anyway, even now that we can suppose a lot of things. :) Nah, I just watch 24 and Lost. If I lose any of them, there's nothing else I can grab myself. :p

Actually, I think this season really was written that way. In fact, I think all of the seasons have been written that way, and it's like that for a lot of shows. Different writers write different "hours" of the show, and they have meetings on how they're going to tie in the different parts. It's like how a program is written by different programmers, but it's tied together at some point. I think it's pretty rare for "every" episode to be written by the same people on any show today really.

Originally 24 consisted of two primary story arcs, and I think that is what worked so well for it, but then it started deviating into a bunch of sub plots and, imho, this has affected the quality of the show. Season's 4 and 6 are generally considered the worst of what 24 has offered, and they're the worst offenders of the subplots. Season 5 was able to pull it off with great success, though, so it's not as if all cases of this are bad, it's just a bit much to have so many different catastrophic plots crammed into one season.

Looks to me as Tony was always on the bad side from the beginning but his plan was not to kill innocent people that explain why he did switch side a couple of time.

No, they explained it. Tony was always a 'bad guy'. He only helped stop the Juma/Dubaku/Hodges stuff because it wasn't part of the original plan. The plan was for Starkwood to make the bioweapon for Tony's group, not for Hodges to try and use it himself.

Dayum Tony that was cold. Real cold.
Yes, he certainly was! He was such a bitch in the first season (watching that now with my wife) and now he's this stone cold villian!

While I was surprised that they brought his character back "from the dead", I do like what they have done with him so far.

    • I really wonder if this has to do with the built in VPN or "private DNS" of browsers that trip up legal requirements like cookie consent and Cloudflare (to avoid all the botnet attacks we get). And BTW some botnets still manage to get past Cloudflare, we are constantly having to tweak it to block malicious traffic that ultimately cause a DDoS.
    • CPPC states can also be messed around with in most UEFI settings but aren't as robust as the ones that the Windows Scheduler can provide! Make sure you look into what your motherboard also has before customizing for the Windows Scheduler.
