[WoW] What do you do on Tuesdays while the servers are down

Recommended Posts

I was wondering what people did when the servers were down for World of Warcraft. Whether or not people had funny stories of if they would keep refreshing the realm status page or just keep opening and closing the client until the message for mainenance went away so that you could log on..

As for myself i have somewhat of a life and i just do other things if i am even trying to get online to play. Most often then not i just have other stuff to do and i do not really notice that the servers are down for a few hours each week. However i know people that freak out because they are not able to connect to the game

Funniest story that i ever heard about it was someone that did not know that the servers were done each week and during their first week of the game they called Blizzard up to complain that the servers were down for so long and wanted to a full refund of their money.

sadly i am an addict i have canceled my account twice and even deleted my characters before and i still play. for the simple reason of there is so much to do in the game. However i do play other games like Super Smash Bros. Brawl and i even got Mario Kart Wii yesterday and i have played a lot of newer games and stuff still while playing WoW each day lol

well neutrino, im in the same boat as you are. I had 2 lvl 70's and have probably deleted my mage 5 times. I finally deleted them totally, and left for 5 months. I came back just for something extra in my spare time, and started a troll mage on a diff account. My days of 10 hours playing at a time are over.

Topics like this just prove even more how WoW turns even semi-geeks into total losers. It's cool though, I have friends that play it. They usually sit there and refresh or play some Magic the Gathering.

Geeks.

(Thanks God that he gave up MMO's over 2 years ago!) <3

WoW doesn't ruin anyone's life. God forbid though that someone could actually take responsibility for their own actions though, right?

But no, let's blame video games for your child's actions, making you forget your 1 year old in the backseat of your car, or preventing you from actually going to sleep.

Anyhow, back to the topic on hand.. Tuesdays are just like every day for the most part. If I can't play WoW, I'll be fooling with the guitar, reading, or going out. It's getting warm enough for swimming, so hopefully I'll be able to do that more often. :)

As you take time out of your day to post your opinions of your friend on a computer-tech website? Irony much?

I'm not saying that everybody playing WoW has no life or no girlfriend, but I'd be willing to bet over 75% don't. I have both of those things, just so happened that between going to the gym and getting ready for class, that I had time to read this topic and post. :D
