Trommel
Hey, I'm about to install my already SP3 slipstreamed windows cd so I can see which updates have been added since I last added stuff onto the CD. Anyway, I never tried slipstreaming the .NET framework. I install it everytime so I can't quite work out why...I have been told it's not that easy. Apart from the framework I'll also try to embedd a monitor driver, framework updates (service packs) and a few other things. But my main question is: How do I slipstream all three frameworks and their updates? Thanks! Hawkeye
Well, you would only need to slipstream updates for .NET Framework 1.1. There have not been any updates for .NET Framework 2.0 SP1. You no longer have to install the original .NET Framework 2.0, as the redistributable for .NET Framework 2.0 SP1 is a full installer, not just an update. The same holds true for .NET Framework 3.0 SP1 and .NET Framework 3.5. [deXter]
Just get a .NET addon and slipstream it with nLite or similar. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/635735-slipstream-net-framework/#findComment-589387234 Share on other sites
