Really doesn't look horrible. Doesn't look great, but the effects look decent and the acting doesn't seem horrid. I'll rent it when it hits, since it's straight-to-DVD.

Yeah I am with you it looks alright nothing I would go out my way to see, I think its crap they decided to make a sequel but heh if it makes money.

looks like garbage =\

the reason the "tunnel" coming out of him looked wierd, was because in donnie darko they say its supposed to show were there center of gravity is going to travel, but the guy its shows "tunnel" is just waving around.

and it looks like they added more people and they have abilitys.......

they destroyed it....

NOSTALGIA ALERT!!

I believe Donnie Darko was (one of) the first films to make viral marketing popular on the internet, through elaborate use of puzzles mixed with philosophical ideas. I felt like a junkie coming down from my 'awesome-creepy high' from the film. I played through all the flash puzzles and read every inch of material, looking to get my mind ****ed by more spooky philosophical goodness.

And I missed the scary bunny. I wish he could be my friend in the bathroom mirror. We could go watch movies together! I would get extra butter on his popcorn, because that's how Mr. Bunny liked it. I would even look for the biggest kitchen knife, so I could gouge out his murderous bunny eyes. Ah, good times, good times..

thats not the same person that plays his sister in the first one, unless its supposed to be the younger sister.

According to IMDB the girl who played his sister in the first one is playing the same character in the sequel
