How can anyone be excited about this movie? Its just a remake of a movie that isnt that old. Go watch the original FFS. This is basically a dubbed version as its supposively going to be a scene by scene remake.

And for your information its not scary in the least. Those looking for a true horror movie will be greatly dissappointed.

before at all thanks to Rappy to let me know about the movie REC. I saw this movie first before watch this american remake.

And to be honest, the american version is by far better than the original. I know... both movies are not one of the best movies ever but since blair this 'new' genre is getting more and more popular. I like movies like blair, just because the actors werent knowed till the movie was famous.

Well... this kind of magic lack both movies. More the american because the main male character is someone we know alredy (very) much. Yea, that guy that we already 'suffer' in Hostel (the 1st was 'ok' (note the quotes) the 2nd wasnt necessary).

The original release of quarentine lacks of good actors, tho. Maybe the ppl believe this movie is better because they dont speak spanish. We, as the ppl who does, can see details that most of the non spanish talking can see. So, to me this kind of details make the movie less real than I could expect. And the camera moves a lot, compared with the american version.

Something that is better in the original compared with this one is the main idea in the end of the movie. The explanation on the original is by far better. On this quarentine, well... a sort of twelve monkies cult. In the original you dont expect an explanation like that. But in the american you actually see how and why this sickness was spreads.

If I have to choose one of them... Dunno. Seems like since the camera moves too much in one of them, I would rather the american.

    • WTF! Nah, not this one. If you were back then using computers in the 90s or you had a clue, you'd know this was huge and was seen and overused absolutely everywhere and you'd take this article as no more than a retrospective story. That's all it is.
    • these "editors" get paid by the amount of articles and not the quality of content; hence why we get this random stuff from the same "editor" time and time again.
    • 256 times the quality of an audio cd? I think audio cd's sound good so even twice as good as that would be something.
    • It’s not about the NOx. It’s about the electrical field.
