[Offical] GTA V Wishlist

I'd also love to see the game following the same weather as your local area, so say it grabs the weather from the internet then in the game you have exactly the same weather with showers at certain times... sunny etc. maybe make it optional so it doesnt depress the hell out of you in the winter lol.

Yeah but it'll **** ppl off who like to play games in the evening and the game ends up being permanently dark.

Why would we want to listen to the trash Radio1 for?

That post is off-topic and immature. And so it is trolling, and won't get a reply from me.

Bandwidth issues perhaps

Yeah, thought about that. But it's only audio, and BBC is already streaming.

I'd like them to put a lot more focus on more 'personal' missions and the feeling that you are actually working your way up. Like in Vice City, you felt like you started at the bottom and worked your way up, purchased houses and generally took over the city - You felt like a powerful man in the end. In GTA IV you are still treated like a simple crook even after you've killed off a lot of 'important' people, he's still doing a ton of missions for money even though you got a huge pile.

That is currently my main gripe with the game.

But i would also like to see more options in the game to spent your money. What's the point of having like 800.000$ after you completed the game, when there's nothing to buy?

spoiler reply:

number 3 can't work as roman dies in one of the endings

Damnit. >_<
Buying stuff!! I need somewhere to ditch my cars and actually feel like I can actually do something with my money :) I don't know about you guys, but once you've got a few dollars, there's no point trying to earn anymore because you don't need it.
Agreed, why not have something simple like being able to buy expensive cars from dealers, like that sports car shop in GTA4 near the safehouse.
because you can take them for free? :p

But having a feeling of ownership would rock! and finally get rid of "glad this aint my car" saying - does me head in lol

I think the idea of being able to look on your map and see your cars would be cool (only full map mind, not mini-map) and maybe being able to sell your cars to a local dealers or via the in game internet!? :D

Yea optional would be good. Sunshine weather for me vs. driving in the snow for some unlucky person.

Put more unique cars in the game, that are hard to get, and deal with the car spawning issue.

I hate it when you get in say a semi rare car like a Comet and then "16" comets spawn around you no matter where you go!

Just really take each part of the game as far forward as you can for the next installation - Eg better graphics, more audio, more building to go inside.

I'd also like it if they built the game from the ground up for both the 360 and the PS3 to take advantage of what each offers. I know the idea is to make both versions as identical as possible, but I wouldn't mind each seeing the perks of each console.

Wouldn't of been bad if they could have put in HD TV viewing and/or more radio station content on the PS3 due to the BR disc.

However that would start World War 3 online if there were "major" differences outside of graphical quirks between a multiplatform title. Graphical quirks already kicked off World War 2.5.

But I say meh, developers shouldn't limit themselves on either platform just to keep the game equal - Take advantage of what you've got infront of you.

I'd say that to any multiplatform devs, but due to costs, most choose to port :/

I personally would like to see it set more in New Jersey for real for real (and I say for real for real since NJ is represented as Alderney in the current game).

Living here my whole life, I know the wide variety of locals you can encounter. Less than an hour ride from NYC, you can see farms with cows, the "suburb suburbs" but then the little town almost like city suburbs, etc. It is pretty crazy the difference in environment by just taking a ride in your car that you can encounter.

Basically set it in Newark, NJ, which is what I believe they are actually trying to do with the version of NJ in the game currently, as Plumbers Skyway is Pulaski Skyway in real life, which more or less connects Newark to NYC.

Newark for a very long time, and it still may be, the car jacking capital of the world. Perhaps that hits to close to home.

But set it from about an hour outside of the city, where you can see those farms, to Manhattan, and I think the variety of it not always being the city could make it truly crazy.

Basically think The Sopranos but not so Italian Mob related.

I would like to be able to compare and buy different items, such as phones, like instead of ONLY getting the first phone and the Whiz phone, like have a mission to buy a decent phone and choose the one you like best.

Countryside like San Andreas again.

Jets, like the Hydra.

Able to buy supercars (Instead of waiting for ages trying to find one and then crashing it) and storage areas for your cars.

It was cool to buy houses in the other games as well as being able to customise the main character.

Having the other main characters change their clothes for each mission/each time you meet them.

Another idea this time have houses and cars as DLC, that way you can at least have something different in your game compared to your mates. oh and have hair that grows...be awesome.

That difference being you'd keep your well earned money in your wallet, whilst they throw away pounds on crappy DLC.

If you want to add diversity with houses and cars, let us paint/mod and use our own imported textures on houses/cars - Don't charge us money for a house or car in a game like GTA4.

Alrite just had a brainwave... make it so you can go inside all buildings (even if it means the same interior layout on majority of them) so you can see a house you like and take it over - kill the family inside... make the deeds yours that sorta thing. and maybe have a limit on the amount of houses you can own.

I'd like to have a far better AI in the cops. E.g. im on a bridge being chased and make it just outside the police circle thing. There's another cop car at the end of the bridge (shown on the radar) however if I just sit there then my star goes and they leave me alone. Surely they should try and meet in the middle before my stars go?

To be fair there is a lot that can be done, watching TV I don't think should be one of them. The territory thing already happened in San Andreas and some people didn't like it.

Also the drivings more realistic in IV and it depends on the Car, I find the banshee easy to handle around corners and on XBOX using the A Hand break has different outcomes to the traditional Right Bumper one.

This is the best of all the GTA games!

I only have a few suggestions. I with there was alot more choice for the clothes to wear. (And if someone can tell me how to access clothes I have already bought, that would be helpful). So far, ive only found one place that sold hats (just 2) and glasses (all crap).

Secondly and just a minor point from my own personal slant is its the first xbox game ive plaid which is almost blatantly saying "if you ain't got a HD tv, your ****ed". I tried playing this on my 32" Toshiba non HD tv in my room and its mostly a blur. Mainly the txt and blips on the maps, its almost unplayable. And I gave up trying to read what was on the cell phone, it was way too dark. I know HD is the future, but we cant all afford them. I shouldn't be penalised for not having a HD tv.

1) Go into your safehouse and find the wardrobe.

2) Agreed, even on a 40" HDTV I still find the phone a bit hard to read sometimes.

1. Non USA, possibly slightly futuristic setting

2. More variety of "activities" (like the bowling and darts), such as go-karts, mini-golf etc.

3. Once you've completed a mission, the ability to select to replay it (just for fun). I'd enjoy playing Three Leaf Clover again.

4. Smoother jumping and hand-to-hand combat controls.

5. Wireless internet on the phone (so I don?t have to go back to the internet caf? to check my e-mail).

6. MP3 player so you can listen to music while walking around.

All pretty minor things really. GTAIV is almost perfect like it is.

    • After enabling it in about:config, customize, density, compact; the toolbar/address bar gets smaller vertically. I enabled Nova, I notice the tab bar/title bar is a bit larger vertically now? Everything always becomes a waste of space.
    • Microsoft's Copilot Cowork now generally available with usage-based billing by Pradeep Viswanathan Back in March, Microsoft first revealed Copilot Cowork, a new agentic AI experience in Microsoft 365 Copilot through which users can assign tasks to AI to complete in the background. After testing the service with a limited set of customers in Research Preview for a few weeks, Microsoft announced the general availability of Copilot Cowork to customers in the Frontier program on March 30. Today, Microsoft announced the general availability of Copilot Cowork worldwide for Microsoft 365 Copilot customers. The company also highlighted that Cowork became the fastest-growing feature in the history of its Frontier program. Unlike regular Copilot Chat, Copilot Cowork can run complex, long-running, multi-tool tasks from start to finish in the cloud by using organizational context through Work IQ. When compared to Claude Cowork, Microsoft claims that Copilot Cowork will be 30% to 40% cheaper on average with its Microsoft 365 connector. For now, Copilot Cowork runs on Anthropic models, including Opus 4.8 and Sonnet 4.6. However, Frontier customers can now use GPT-5.5. Microsoft also announced Cowork 1, a secure fine-tuned model coming in the next few weeks, which is designed to handle everyday Copilot tasks at a lower cost. To access Copilot Cowork, a Microsoft 365 Copilot user subscription is required. Usage is billed separately through Copilot Credits, based on model use, context retrieval, tool calls, and runtime. Pay-as-you-go pricing is set at $0.01 per Copilot Credit. To offer IT teams full control over usage costs, Microsoft provides spending limits, usage alerts, user-level controls, reporting, and prepaid usage plans for organizations. Usage-based billing begins today. However, Frontier customers who used Cowork between March 30 and June 16 will not be billed until July 1, 2026. The Microsoft 365 Copilot app now includes a toggle to enter the full Cowork experience. Microsoft is also adding partner plugins, with Enosix, Harvey, LSEG, Miro, monday.com, Moody’s, Morningstar, S&P Global Energy, and TeamsMaestro available now. Adobe, Atlassian, Box, Canva, Databricks, and others are coming soon.
