Leaked first Banjo and Kazooie 3 screenshots

These were apparently leaked ahead of Microsoft's press conference Tuesday.

Kind of disappointed on Banjo's look so far, but I can't complain too much, I love the series!

The textures in the second screenie on those cogs look awful :/ I hope they improve on those.

I do quite like the style though. Its realistic, but still looks cartoony :)

Yes it is. I was going to post them in that topic that I started a week or so ago, but I figured it was better to start fresh since that topic was more about the Motion Sensing controller rather than the game.

I think so too. It looks like Banjo-Kazooie, which is what I'm looking for. I can't wait for the media embargo to lift.

Since most people don't have N64's anymore, if you have a Wii, I think you can try the series through Virtual Console.

I'm a huge fan of the Banjo games and I think this looks great. I can't wait to get it. What's the expected release date? By the way, wasn't the game announced in 2006?

Hmm, I don't want them to mess the game up with that new controller they are working on. Otherwise if they stay true to the roots of Banjo 1 & 2 it'll be a must have. :yes:

and now I'm left wondering what the hell this game is. 3/4 of those images point more to the game being a racing game than a platformer with the exception of the one where banjo's tightrope walking. I'm sure it'll be the platformer but vehicles at least so far look to play a huge roll.

THe last few one of the actual vehicles even seem to have the vehicles specced out in terms of speed, weight, offence ect. So what are we getting here? A platformer or a mario kart clone? The maps don't exactly look like tracks either but more death match arenas if they are to be navigated in vehicles. I'd like either type of game (with preference to a platformer) but it sure looks like they are taking things down a new road.
