Altezza VS Stock OEM

Personaly, I think altezza taillights are the worse, they seem to look horrible and they are expensive. Why do people use them and who here uses them and why.

I had some for 5 days - just before the craze. I sorta liked them for about a day then just was waiting to change them back for 4 days.

Then every boy racer/ricer wannabe stuck them on - and they look so freaking daft!

had to google "altezza" and then i realised what you are talking about, im used to them being called "Lexus" lights over in the UK

personally i think they look cool depending on what car they're applied on and what they look like, if you talking about modding cars that is

but if you mean on the mean on the actual altezza (Lexus IS200/IS300 for pplz in the UK) lights on the actual car they look great on the car

Ricers use them because they suck.

Sorry, but 99% of the time, altezza lights look stupid and don't blend in with the rest of the car. They work on the Toyota Altezza/IS300, not your car!

They are cheap plasticky naff bits of crap. Only modders with no idea use them!

No, you'd have gotten a front wheel drive hatchback. Ford Fiesta, Honda Civic, Okay, Nissan Sunny... but other Nissans have the performance to match the look.

I voted for stock oem as well. It's almost like street glow stuff, it looks good on some cars but looks like crap on most. Thankfully the street glow craze is dying down some too. I'm not against lights in the car, because my car has green under the dash lights that are stock and look really good, but if you can see the bulb, then, you fail. Altezzas look good on some cars, like the ones they come on stock, but not on the pos civic with the faded or primer painted body panels.
