I am looking for a nice set of headphones something that has good sounds quality and good bass response. I looked at some from Sennheiser, Skullcandy, Sony, Bose. but i am having trouble deciding on the best one. give me your input. If you have headphones from these companies let me know what you think of them. I have a set of skullcandy lowrider headphones and they are awesome but i am looking for something better. I looked at the Skullcandy GI headphones but i do not know how good they sound for the price. I know Bose is probably the best choice out of all of them as far as sound is but they also carry the largest price tag.

I have Ultimate Ear headphones and I think they're really good. They're certainly better than anything else I've used.

With music, price doesn't really correlate with sound quality. I'd suggest you look into reviews and music forums to find some reliable information. That's how my boyfriend found those UE ones for me (they were a present).

I just posted a thread on this a week ago. I went for the Sennheiser HD555's. Not a single bad review on them from Play.com and trying them out last night they work much better than I thought.

How is the bass response on these. Im looking for a good set of headphones that has a good all around sound i dont want anything with too much treble and not enough bass or ones with too much bass and not enough treble. How do you like the HD555's?

I have a pair of Sennheiser HD500's, afaik they have been discontinued but for in case you still wanted a opinion I think they are really nice with a good balance between bass and treble with not to much or to little. I prefer these over a few pairs of Bose I've used.

Sennheiser CX 95s if you're looking for in-ear canal phones, good all round response and there were some ridiculous deals when I got them, although even normal RRP is below $150

Although he didn't say he only wanted headphones he may just and not be interested in in-ear buds. If you are interested in in-ear buds I would go for Shure over all else.

I use Sony's MDRV700 headphones. I use them for monitoring when i am DJ'ing and that is exactly what they are designed for, but i have noticed a lot of people just wearing them as everyday headphones around town.

    • Too late for a slightly older computer I had that didn't meet the hardware requirements for Windows 11 but had great hardware. I installed ubuntu on that thing and gave to a friend's kid.
