the ending caught me off i really wtf'ed

Yeah !! same here ... I also loved the part where Dexter and the other dude said to each other : "Who the hell are you ?"

Michael C. Hall is really a great actor, I love him.

I laughed when Dexter had his first trying asking her to marry him :p

Yeah, there's some that come way to easy for Dexter, excet that 'emotions'!

I've the feeling he either gets busted this season, gets away if Prado looses DA job, or ?????? if Dexter ends this year.

What's the piano tune that's been showing up at the end of each show. I find it really relaxing actually.

I'm starting to think that this season will ultimately end in Dexter telling Miguel about his true character and this will be a result of Dexter slowly building a real friendship with Miguel and trusting him, to the point where he thinks that he can trust Miguel with his darkest secret. The name of the last episode in the season is "Do You Take Dexter Morgan?" and I think this is multi-dimensional, meaning it not only involves the actual marriage - but Dexter's leap of faith with Miguel.

Unfortunately I feel that this will ultimately end in catastrophe, as Miguel will probably abandon Dexter after hearing the truth about him and Dexter will be assert that nobody good could accept Dexter for what he really is. This will probably open a path for regression in the next season as Dexter would lose all the faith the... 'good' in himself and probably view himself as nothing but evil whilst struggling to manage the new marriage & child...

Hope you guys like my prediction :p

Dexter Renewed for 2 More Seasons

Showtime has opted to kill two morally bankrupt murderers birds with one stone, picking up Dexter for two more seasons, it was announced on Tuesday.

Seasons 4 and 5 will consist of 12 episodes each, with production to commence this spring in Los Angeles.

"Dexter's enormous success is a tribute to the great achievements of its cast, the producing team, the author of the original book [Jeff Lindsay], and the gifted Michael C. Hall," says Showtime president of entertainment Robert Greenblatt. "I thought at best we would attract adevoted cult audience but soon realized that, ironically, this show is so thematically rich and layered with humanity that audiences of all kinds have flocked to it."

Hall is a two-time Emmy and Golden Globe nominee for his portrayal of Dex, while the series itself was nominated this year for five Emmys, including Outstanding Drama Series.

I just finished Seasons 1 & 2, and now finally caught up with Season 3.

I think Miguel and Ramone are in with some dirty business. Oscar was part of it. That's why Miguel was going to Freebo's house to kill him. I think Freebo knew something about what Miguel and Ramone are doing and needed to keep it quiet. Oscar was involved as well. I am not sure if Oscar screwed something up, or if he went to kill Freebo, but something is definitely up with that family.

I am also curious about Quinn. Rita's miscarriage was no surprise, though

Season 3 has been absolutely crap albeit with some classical genius moments but, who are these new characters and why are they there, do I even care or know much about them, do they fuel my interest, no! They are a serious waste of time, man I miss the good old days with Doakes and real killing. Now he's supposed to get ******* and have a ****, Dexter is clearly finished. I think I'll stop watching season 3 and revisit season 1 and 2... sigh.. why does this have to always happen with shows.
