I love Dexter, Michael C Hall does a great job playing him, but I'd have to say I'd rather see Hugh Laurie win for best actor in a drama series over Hall. I wouldn't be disappointed if Hall won, but I think Laurie does a much better job as House than Hall does as Dexter.

Now for Best Drama Series, I'd like to see either Dexter or House win. Either are perfectly fine with me winning.

Are they ".......having a Roley-poly- chubby-cheeked ....... machine??" Deb's heavily censored words not mine. If i seem them walking around, I'm going to start thinking they're on set. ;)

I don't know for sure, but I think season 4 someone that will still be alive after finding out, is going to know who Dexter is. He can't possibly kill that many people, all tied to police investigations or law enforcement, and after they thought they caught the guy, bodies are still missing. I think Ramon Prado might make a reappearance - he seems to be possibly the only one smart enough left to figure it out.

I think LaGuerta is smart enough. They kind of made it a plot point late last season anyhow to show how capable she was. Frank Lundy is still floating around out there and I would love to see Keith Carradine make another appearance.

I'd be willing to bet it's her in the end. It just seems like that's how it's gonna work out. If she does figure it out, the only question then would be if she turns him in or not.

Anyone think that next season will start with a flash-forward? I think they're gonna jump like 5 years in the future and start the season then.

Ahh, good point. I didn't think of that. I think that would be a bad idea. They did it in Desperate Housewives and I don't think it turned out good, at all.

I think it will be a few months after.

Probably. I was thinking that they would skip ahead and then try to develop the relationship between Dexter and his son (who is showing the same signs of serial-killer that he showed).

Yeah, you are right. They did recast Cody once already, but the connection between Dexter and the kids is real important to the story so further recasts would damage that.

Oh my Lord. I knew that Cody looked different but I never once thought it was a different kid. Now I feel so dumb.

Sorry with earlier statement. Ramone is the most disconnected from Dexter family wise. If anyone were to be the first to make the accusation and finding a way to make it stick, IMO it would be Ramon. He ain't exactly the nice clean cop which might make it easier. If its based on the book (and have no read) then its prob Deb as those who have say it is.

It would be really cool though if they made a 'Noir' story line for next season ... kind of like Max Payne ... Flash backs, flash forwards until it all makes sense. If not this, then whenever the final season comes about.

Debra finds out, if you read the novels she's the one who finds out and doesn't turn him in. Granted the series doesn't take from the novels (most of season 1 was) I think they will stay true and have her find out.

As much as I'd like to see Dexter with his kid, I still think he will be a baby next season. If anything, have him older in Season 5. They've stayed true to the timeline so far, seems odd that they would leave such a large gap. Dexter still needs to get used to having a family before being a father.

Smartglasses powered by augmented reality are the latest fashion because the smartphone market is slowly reaching saturation. Snap Inc. announced its latest AR-powered smartglasses, called SPECS, that aim to strike a middle ground between underpowered AI glasses and heavy headsets you can't wear all the time. Available in two sizes, Snap SPECS are made from high-performance Swiss TR90 polymer and feature removable inserts to support prescription lenses. Its 47mm model weighs about 132g; the bigger 52mm model weighs 136g. Snap Inc has been spreading the word about the new glasses for a while now. Earlier this year, it even spun off its smart glasses team into a subsidiary called Specs Inc. Its proprietary LCOS (Liquid Crystal on Silicon) display delivers a 51-degree field of view and 16 million colors. Snap says the device gives the feel of a 24-inch desktop monitor when you're working, and of a 115-inch home cinema screen placed about 10 feet away when watching a movie. A pair of custom stereo speakers and 6x high-SNR MEMS microphones are built into the temples of the smartglasses to deliver open-ear audio while you cast a screen, stream content, open a whiteboard, or collaborate with others. Snap Inc. patted itself on the back, saying the smartglasses don't need tethering or a puck to connect to a computer. Under the hood, SPECS draw its power from two Snapdragon processors: one for computer vision and another for running Lenses. The device supports fast hand tracking, low latency, and responsive interactions that help digital content feel anchored in the real world, according to the company, which claims that SPECS can "deliver 7-millisecond motion-to-photon latency." The smartglasses offer up to four hours of battery life on a single charge while providing AI assistance, Bluetooth notifications, Lenses, audio/video playback, and more. Snap Inc. noted that it filed more than 7,000 patents during the development of SPECS. Snap SPECS are now available for pre-order on the official website with a $2,195 price tag ($200 refundable deposit).       I own these and the normal QuietComfort ones from Bose. The QC are amazing and I want to love these, but for the life of me, I have a terrible time getting them attached to my ears.
