Maybe people just aren't watching tv? I know many people that rarely do. I wasn't hooked at first but they have gotten progressively better and I love it now.

So true. I literally only watch live tv when there's sports on now, or sometimes if there is a good film on and I have nothing to do. I've been like this for at least two years, and with Sky+/DVR solutions finally mainstream TV channels need to utilise online/ondemand services to their advantage more. People are happy enough to watch an advert or two if they can watch what they want, when they want.

So, are they going to put the 13th episode on the site to be seen on FoD, or is it still dvd only? Seems like if they don't show the 13th episode but leave it on the dvd the series might be a little weird if the do renew it. I mean would they start season two off after episode 12, or go by the unaired 13th episode?

Well it seems they are making next week the finale and yes they did release the 13th episode promo pictures but I doubt it will be aired...DVD only...or Season 2 opener?

Ratings were loooooooow :(

Not again! The penultimate episode of Dollhouse dropped the series to another new low -- 1.1 preliminary adults 18-49 rating and 3.1 million viewers. Lead-in Prison Break was steady with its bottom-rung 1.0 rating and 3.2 million viewers

Meanwhile CBS won the night with Friday-healthy numbers for Ghost Whisperer (9.7 million, 2.3), Flashpoint (9.6 million, 2.1) and the 100th episode of Numbers (9.6 million, 2.2).

ABC was second with the season finales of Wife Swap (4.2 million, 1.4) and Supernanny (4.6 million, 1.6). The reality shows are concluding about on par. The domesticated duo helped ABC get a competitive foothold on a difficult night this season (both have been renewed). ABC also aired 20/20 (6.2 million, 1.8). NBC was third with the finale of Howie Do It (3.3 million, 0.9), matching Prison Break for fourth place and a two-hour Dateline (5.8 million, 1.5).

Dollhouse has dropped eight of its 11 weeks on the air. Here's a Dollhouse adult demo chart through last week:

^ That scene reminded me of Zorro :p

Bad to hear next week's episode will be the last one though (for now at least, IF there will be a 2nd season, you never know these days).

Edit: nvm. Found an answer: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nielsen_Ratings

    • I think every American should have a course in a 'dry sense of humour' at school; and perhaps 'using sarcasm in jest' oh, and also 'the use or irony in humour'. Slapstick is just about all Americans can understand. It's a pity, as this is the most basic of humour, that requires no thought at all. It's hilarious to watch a whole room collapse with laughter while yanks sit scratching their heads...
    • What they really need to do is automatically spell "loses" and "lose" correctly since nobody seems to know how to anymore. Then they blame spellcheck/autocomplete and don't realize autocomplete is just filling in the word for them automatically so it was misspelled in the first place.
    • If someone chooses to continue using SB and therefore goes through the manual intervention in the thread, afterwards the BSOD problem is gone. Whether they then re-enable the task doesn't matter, they're done, though on such machines it might pay to keep it disabled in case the next update (if there is a next) causes the same problem. OTOH, if someone disables SB in the BIOS, the problem is also gone. Incidentally, I noticed that this task exists even on machines that don't support SB. It's just installed across the board...and runs. Doing what on such machines is a little hazy.
