eheh i don't post much but i couldn't resist, in Belgium we probably brew the best beers in the world ...(yeah right :) at least we got some choice :

Belgian Beers index

but of course they are a few that we drink everyday: Jupiler mainly in my part onf the country (everyday beer) or stella

and fruity beers (Kriek and many others)

In belgium you probably won't have enough of a lifetime to drink them all .

That's a good travel reason isn't it?

I took this thread to mean local breweries, so...

I'm not much of a beer fan, but we've got a brewery about 30 minutes away (down in Escondido) called Stone Brewing Co, and their IPA is a favorite for my friend. It's also a little stronger on the alcohol than most beers.

Newcastle UK.

There are so many how can I choose. Any from the Mordue Brewery or Big Lamp

Plus our most famous one (that very few people here drink) Newcastle Brown Ale. (also it's not brewed here any more)

As a side note Brown Ale used to be so strong and had a certain composition that if you were an alcoholic drinking Brown Ale you went mad. The mental hospital near where I used to live had a special wing for Brown Ale ex and current alkies. Even if you gave up drinking you stayed mad.

I love Newcastle Brown Ale.

You may like a beer called woodchuck its an apple cider beer tastes just like apple cider and its made in Vermont.

It's technically not beer. It's draft cider. It's basically just fermented longer than regular cider. It's about 5.2% alcohol if i remember correctly. I comes in a few flavors also. Amber, Granny Smith, and Dark & Dry.

Alittle off topic but ehh.

I am the only one that cannot stand the taste of beer? To me all beer has a really bad taste. For other goodies that I can mix is fine with me. I've tried a good amount of beer and cant deal with it for more then a few sips. I keep getting told to try Sam Adams though.

Here in New England we've got Samuel Adams! Great beer.

While I do not enjoy drinking beer (too bitter ... like tasting cigarettes)

You can't make a generalization like that. Depends on the beer. There's a LOT of different types of beers that taste very different from one another. You don't know what you're missing if you haven't had a really good beer.

The locals:

I love the beer from the Penn Brewery.

Penn Pilsner is probably my favorite from there. Followed by St. Nikolaus Bock.

Yuengling is alright.

Others:

I like the Great Lakes Beers, they were mentioned earlier, but they aren't really from my area. My favorite of the Great Lakes Beers is probably Nosferatu.

My favorite Brewing Company by far is Dogfish Head. They are located in Delaware.

My favorite every day beer from them is probably the Chicory Stout. I also Love their Raison D'Etra, Indian Brown Ale, and 90 Minute IPA. But the most intense of all is their Worldwide Stout and their 120 Minute IPA, both of which are around 20% alcohol. I like them a lot but at ~$140 a case I don't buy them often.

What about IRON CITY?

Alittle off topic but ehh.

i like doing a half and half w/ a dark lager on the bottom, then slowly pouring a Woodchuck on top over a spoon. delicious when they start to combine!!

<img snippped>

This is the most popular brew in Turkey, I prefer the Dark version though.

The problem is though, it's like the only beer you CAN get there.. atl east when I went there for holiday (But I didn't drink then since I was much younger).

edit: Oh and yeah, I don't really like lager at all... I can enjoy bitter more so.

    • They aren't going to want to. Most would just go with the 17 Pro and save money. Why would they want to spend $300 for basically the same thing? It's not worth it if there are hardly any changes from year to year.
    • 24H2 rolled out to the Release Preview Channel in early June 2024, so this coming a bit later in the Experimental Channel (formerly Dev) doesn't really say much more than earlier H2 releases that came out in October. I am not sure what the thinking is here by putting it in Experimental, one would think that the 26H2 stamp means features are locked down and it's now bug tested until October? I don't even pretend to understand Microsoft's strategy for Windows Insider Program though
