.net Framework 3.5

For reason I cannot install .NET FRAMEWORK 3.5 on Vista SP1.

Any ideas what I can to do to fix this?

Vista already has .Net 3.5. or is that .Net 3.0...

edit: its 3.0 hmm. I wonder why 3.5 didnt come with SP1.

well on to the problem are you using the web installer or the redistributable package?

No it does not, Vista has .NET 3.0 built in, but not 3.5. Have you tried downloading it again, it could be a bad download.

I'm using the one from microsofts update center.

Whoops. Never mind. Does the MS website give you an MD5? If so, make sure it downloaded correctly by checking that...

why do you want the 3.5 as vista already has 3.0?do you have software that needs 3.5?i think it's a complete waste unless you actualy need it.
