I mean this is really obvious, but I think in the end...it's only the revenue that matters. If a show isn't bringing in the ratings/money,

then no sense in keeping it around. Despite a strong fan background, sometimes that just is the way things end up going.

lame, but it needed to happen. seriously look how they have developed people over the 4 seasons and how little they have actually accomplished. maybe they should stop writing horrible filler episodes and build some character depth from the start.

but i am saddened to see it go, because it had such promise.

Last nights episode was a great one. David really showed his acting talent in that one, he was quite convincing in some of those scenes I'll admit it. And as always it's great to have his sister on (his real life sister also in case you guys didn't know :))

I'm just disgusted that Atlantis was cancelled still. And you know what, it isn't ALL Sci-Fi's fault this time around - it's also MGM's fault.

It was an okay episode...

Just realized John has a Johnny Cash poster in his room. :D

they show it alot of episodes. It's a subtle touch they've done since the first or 2nd season that I really like cause it shows Sheppard is a normal cool person. I think their was an episode were he told somebody how much he loved Johnny Cash and I can't remember if the poster was their before or after, but either way it's a nice tough.

Great episode. Yes, David's acting was the best. You really felt for the guy even though he's an arrogant sod most of the time. I love the fact that his real sister plays his pretend sister, there was real empathy between them. Although some of the scenes must have been difficult to shoot without laughing.

I though we were getting a new woman character, some sort of soldier. Hopefully she replaces Teyla, man she's a crap part of SA. We need more Caldwell and Daedalus.

Yeah she was shown for like 2 second's shooting down a wraith dart in one episode but thats about it

So far the season seems like a dud, there's no story arc to it..

just seems like episodes are wrapped around characters each week but no real focus on anything new ..

  • 2 weeks later...
um tha lastest esp! 4 women crew! OMG top points!

and it was axed down to 3 if I remember right :p

That episode last night felt a little off..

felt like a horror flick then sci-fi, which was ok

but for some reason I had flashback to the "The Ring" with that episode

I'm just disgusted that Atlantis was cancelled still. And you know what, it isn't ALL Sci-Fi's fault this time around - it's also MGM's fault.

No, anything ratings/cancellation related to Stargate and Battlestar is ALWAYS Sci-Fi's fault. They should have never split the shows up. If they hadn't, we'd still have all three of them, no doubt.

last nights wasnt bad

you think being the final season tho..theyd have some storyline

but its just back to random directionless episodes

but i guess..whats left..nothing really

I started losing interest when Dr Weir and carson were cut originally..and now weve got Wolesley and i keep expecting him to so say "please state the nature of the medical emergecy" every time he appears

i think they had great momentum..but they couldnt live up the original..and i think the original where azgard gave em all that technology..and they beat ascended beings and all that..ruined atlantis..rather than atlantis ruining atlantis

The last episode was quite creepy. The whole horror movie theme went well. I must admit though, the creatures in the mist really got to me.

i hope u were being sarcastic .. that ep was yet another boring filler ep (crap)... why cant the writers move on the story!! its like they've given up!

so dissapointed in the series right now

The last episode would have been good if the led somewhere, well most of the episodes lately. Everything seems to be a dead end. They could play the episodes completely out of order and no one would notice. Hopefully the tail end of the season will be more connected.

Ruki, tossing some boobs into the mix wouldn't hurt. Btw I like your sig, I dunno why though :)

that wasn't scary at all the latest episode. They need to get back to more exploring atlantis and battles with the wraith, and the michael story line is stretching pretty thin now, yawn. Though it's too late now. Hope the remaining few episodes do the series justice.

    • Given only Volume license customers and specific resellers can obtain the LTSC versions legitimately it seems likely that this has been tinkered with quite a lot!
    • Apple CEO Tim Cook confirms looming price hikes due to memory shortages by Hamid Ganji Image via Apple Memory and chip shortages have led to significant price increases for electronics over the past year, and it seems that more hikes are on the way for upcoming smartphones and computers. Apple CEO Tim Cook has confirmed that the company is planning to increase the prices of some of its products due to the ongoing memory and storage shortages. In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Cook confirmed the looming price hikes for Apple’s future products, adding that “Unfortunately, price increases are unavoidable.” He also said the company is doing its best to “mitigate the huge increases that are being passed to us, and we’ve been trying to shield our customers from the increases, but the situation has become unsustainable.” The Apple CEO also noted that the allocation of a large portion of memory chips to AI companies has contributed to shortages in the market, resulting in lower supply at a time when demand for devices remains high. “We definitely need memory pricing and supply to return to reasonable levels for consumer products. That’s the bottom line,” Cook said. Cook also added that Apple is ready to use its vast cash reserves to help boost supply in the market because additional production capacity is needed. While he declined to specify how Apple plans to do that, he said the company will not build its own memory and storage factories despite its financial resources and silicon expertise. Cook did not provide further details on the scale of the price increases or which Apple products would be affected, though iPads and Macs could see higher prices sooner than other products. Apple’s next product launch event is scheduled for September, when the company is expected to unveil the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and its first foldable iPhone. It remains unclear whether the upcoming iPhones will be affected by the price increases, but given the current memory shortage, higher prices seem increasingly likely. There is currently no clear timeline for the end of the memory shortage. Samsung, one of the world’s three largest memory chip manufacturers, recently said the shortage could persist for several more years.
    • Downloads does not equal actual usage, even less when the app is pre-installed in some Galaxy phones.
    • +1000 to this, don't understand why they added that margin around the top bar, even the close button is a PITA to click without aiming. Ofc, this is just preview and hopefully they will revert such odd UX decision before hitting final version.
