I've been a windows guy all my life and have hated on and bashed Apple for years until I understood them. My job got me a macbook one day and the rest is history. I fell in love with Apple products SO MUCH to where I purchased the machine you see in my sig and I"m apple only in my house. I have this machine and a Mac min with no complaints (other than this weird bug I'm having in Photo Shop) ANYHOW I say all that to say that I fell in love with Mac's so much as to want switch my career path totally and start support Mac's... I want to quit the windows environment all together and become and all Mac support guy. Only problem is at my level of Windows support it seems that I would have to take a significant pay cut (40k+ cut) to switch over to Apple because at that point even though I have all this experience in general in the tech world (8+ years) once I become Apple Certified I will still be just that... a fresh NEW certified Apple tech. :( Kinda sucks because I'm REALLY fed up and tired of what I do and would love to switch over to the Apple side of things. :|

Money isn't everything... however it counts for a lot. Ultimately you have to be happy with your life.

Whichever way you go I wish you the best (Y).

Here in England the Apple Staff really dont know what they're doing, +1 for the Genius Bar. Had a issue with Leopard after upgrading (too complicated to go into) and they suggested sending my MacBook in for repair, I declined and my issue was fixed in 10.5.1.

I guess Apple really concentrate on giving a good impression in the US but in Europe they're just another company that makes PCs. I remember going into an Apple Store in Spain and all the iMacs were bootcamped into Windows, I asked the manager why and he said "windows is better" I told him I hope he loses his job and he didnt take that well :D

Regardless, Exams booked :D wish me luck

+ 1 - Down here in Aussieland they are the most clueless bunch of zealots i've ever seen, although I know this is because they are not 'real' -Center's, it kinda sucks for us .. So i hear they are opening their first -Store in Aus but, ITS IN SYDNEY!! :(

Still, when I took my laptop for service I was trying to convince them to let me into their service area and fix it myself, solely because they just don't know wtf their doing. (took it there like 3 times, told em what's wrong, what needs fixing and they changed parts completely irrelevant to the issues) :/

    • Brave Browser 1.91.171 by Razvan Serea Brave Browser is a lightning-fast, secure web browser that stands out from the competition with its focus on privacy, security, and speed. With features like HTTPS Everywhere and built-in tracker blocking, Brave keeps your online activities safe from prying eyes. Brave is one of the safest browsers on the market today. It blocks third-party data storage. It protects from browser fingerprinting. And it does all this by default. Speed - Brave is built on Chromium, the same technology that powers Google Chrome, and is optimized for speed, providing a fast and responsive browsing experience. Brave Browser also features Brave Rewards, a system that rewards users with Basic Attention Tokens (BAT) for viewing opt-in ads. This innovative system provides an alternative revenue model for content creators and a way to support the Brave community. SlimBrave Neo takes all the good things about Brave and makes them even better by keeping everything clean, light, and privacy-focused. It removes the extra clutter, turns off features you might not need, and cuts down on anything that could slow you down or collect unnecessary data. Because it relies on simple settings and policies instead of modifying the browser itself, you still get full Brave compatibility—just in a smoother, lighter, and more privacy-friendly package. Brave Browser 1.91.171 changelog: General Fixed Cardano not being disabled on upgrade to Brave Origin. Upgraded Chromium to 149.0.7827.103. Origin Removed “Survey Panelist” setting from brave://settings/privacy. Fixed P3A and usage ping under brave://settings/privacy being displayed on first launch on Linux. Upgraded Chromium to 149.0.7827.103. • Hi. As the title suggests, I can't access the forum on my phone. I'm using Edge on Android and when I try to navigate to the forum I get a "we value your privacy" popup and none of the buttons are clickable. It effectively stonewalls me from reading any forum content.
    • Honestly you're not wrong about AdGuard. Neowin frequently has lifetime license discounts for them and that's how I got my cheap family license a few years ago to run it on all my devices.
