AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH ARGHHHHHHHHH, GOD

I have to give it to Turkey, they didn't give up, even when Croatia scored the goal. That said, I'm also wondering where the 1.5 minutes came from since there is no such thing as extra time in extra time  . The referee did everything right up until that point. Fair play to Turkey though.

Have to love the extra 2 minutes the ref gave for Turkey to tie.

Now the question is, how many players will Turkey have for Germany? 4 are suspended, Nihat got injured, and 3-4 others are injured. They may just have enough to make a team.

Looks like Germany will eat Turkey apart, unfortunately.

Alan Hansen said this at the end of extra time: "That is one of the best finishes to a game ever."

I'm actually kicking myself now for not watching the game. I only saw the last 15 minutes of the first half, the replays of both goals, and the shootout. I think those final moments from the 118th minute onwards made up for the boredom before it!

Well done to Turkey, but I'm afraid you're gonna be packing your bags in the Semi-Finals. There's no way they'll beat Germany. If they do, it'll be the luckiest bunch of gits ever! :D

OK, how fast is Alfista gonna be rushing to a computer to post on here and laugh at everyone who were backing Croatia? I'm glad I supported the winning side (again)! :D

Oh, god... prepare your rain coats and umbrellas, fellas, Alfista is coming down on us like a thunderstorm...

What about that, hum...? From the three matches they won, they always come back from loosing... Is that luck or what...? No, don't tell me that this last goal was because they are great, because they weren't. This game was pretty bad.

It's amazing the DEUS EX MACHINA factor this team has!!

What's even more curious is that I could see myself fancing Turkey more, if not for the arrogant comments Alfista has made so far, and absolutely will continue on making...

They still play injury time - if there was any - I don't know I didn't watch the game, only caught the equaliser and penalties.

Its more BS that he blew the whistle on the SECOND for the 1st extra time... and 2 minutes 12 seconds later for the 2nd extra time, when the only injury was Nihat walking off the field(that took literally 12 seconds).

I've always fancied Turkey since their 3rd place finish in the World Cup but I agree, Alfista's arrogance has made me go against Turkey this tournament, though I wouldn't mind them beating Germany. However, I highly that will happen with half the starters and team suspended and injured.

Actually, if you take a look at the clock, he whistled it half time when it was 14 minutes and 57 seconds gone, which means he whistled it a few seconds too early. Then, in the second half, he whistles it 2 minutes past the time he was suppose to.

Croatia scored before the 119th minutes and their celebrations lasted about a minute (being generous here). That means the game was suppose to end around the 121st, but it ended past the 122nd, which is why the Croatian coach was upset with the ref for allowing such thing.

Nonetheless, congrats to the Turks. They tied it and won it, though I do not know how they can manage to put a team together against Germany with all those main players missing.

Germany will be playing half a bench team, which means Germany will sail to the finals where they do not deserve to be, in my opinion.

    • LOL. Can't even quote and edit a comment correctly. Figures you're a Linux user.
    • I have disabled it, but the app is still taking space. I have a Mac and it is only possible to disable Ai on that, but I think that bit does get rid of the AI components after a while. What we are told is that we agree to all this when we use the devices as it is in the end user agreements, their software, they can do what they like. I doubt that any bill will happen in the U.S, the government there are in league with big tech firms. The E.U maybe, they seem to have some guts when it comes to tech companies. The U.K is not in the E.U, but some things still affect us. Our government is as gutless when it comes to tech companies as the U.s government.
