"They're like the B-movie monster that keeps getting back up, no matter how many times you kill it." Someone said that on BBC Forums. :D

At this point, no one can be sure if Germany can beat Turkey or not.

And their celebration were way more than 20 seconds, i'll watch again though.

Their celebration was less than a full minute long (read my post above regarding this).

Now in terms of Germany, I am not so sure the Germans are scared considering they will be playing half a Turkish team and half a bench team with probably 1 or 2 subs available to come in, if that.

Germany has it just like they want it.

I will be rooting for the Turks against Germany and I hope the Turks can get another miracle because they will need it with half of their players missing.

Croatia scored before the 119th minutes and their celebrations lasted about a minute (being generous here). That means the game was suppose to end around the 121st, but it ended past the 122nd, which is why the Croatian coach was upset with the ref for allowing such thing.

Nonetheless, congrats to the Turks. They tied it and won it, though I do not know how they can manage to put a team together against Germany with all those main players missing.

Germany will be playing half a bench team, which means Germany will sail to the finals where they do not deserve to be, in my opinion.

Now imagine the atrocities Alfista will write if a "semi-Turkey" beats a "full-on Germany" and proceeds to the final... the horror... the horror...

I've said this before and will say it again: Turkey has one hell of a "Deux Ex Machina" factor...

P.S.: ... and I'm having trouble accepting that Portugal was the only one to beat this average team. And STILL they continue in the tournament... God must be a Turk these days...

Which means if Turkey wins the Euro (Armageddon anyone) then we are champions because we were the only ones to beat them

Got to give the Turks credit, they never give up.

That said, I don't see how anyone could claim that they have dominated or have been the "better" team in any of the games - one of the statistics brought up on the BBC commentary is that Turkey have only had the lead for 2 minutes over the course of the tournament so far.

Nice point, Beanz. Actually, their only lead was 1 minute against the Swiss and another minute against the Czech's.

They have lead for 2 minutes all tournament long.

That said, Turkey deserves some credit for staying in every game and they will need some miracles against Germany unless their bench can outplay Germany's starters.

Turkey v. Germany would have been a good match but with all the players missing for Turkey, it is going to be easy sailing for the Germans. It is a shame.

the thing about germany is they tend to play poorly when they are the favorites. But as you said with so many players injured/suspended, it doesnt look good for turkey.

They have a good as chance as Germany, despite losing that many starters.

There is no god, just randomness.

Got that right, dude.

One more thing: I will absolutely NOT "forgive" Alfista if he comes to this thread as of now and talks about his team, that Turkey is perfect, that the "x" or "y" football player is the best of the world, that the cup is already theirs, yadda yadda yadda... I will absolutely word-fight you on that, friend, because both teams didn't play football, they just strolled around the field and watched time go by.

This game was just plain boring, awful and a disgrace to such a sport. To anyone who cares: if you just watched the last 3 minutes and then the penalties, you've seen the highlights of the game.

If I was Alfista and was as into football as he is ( ), my next post would be along the lines of:

"AHHAHAHAHHAHAHHAH, tooldd yuo. TURRRKEY WIN. WIll win Euroo 2008"

But then it could also be

Okay, this day was not meant to occur. What the **** is going on?

I just made a new character in my favorite MMORPG, and I decide to go cleric, which probably the least used build in the game. Everybody uses warriors (tanks) and wizards (damage).

Only a few minutes for me to get the cleric build I get a drop. It's an ultra rare wizard weapon.

**** this day. ****!

Unfortunately, I think that is just what he will do. I don't think any of us doubts Turkey's ability, as any team have a 50-50 chance, regardless if they are injuries or suspension in their respective team. But what Alfista has said and done in this thread has much to fuel the flames and turn most of us into Turkey haters. Admittedly, he's using reverse psychology to a point where he is in the limelight, and enjoying it. I think the best thing we can do is just to ignore him and post what is really important, the football matters on the pitch, not off it. I mean, there are other team beside Turkey, right?

Who's with me :p ?

    • Alien Isolation 2 will bring a new protagonist and setting, watch the reveal trailer here by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Only a few weeks ago, Sega and Creative Assembly dropped a teaser for a new Alien Isolation. Today at Summer Game Fest, Alien: Isolation 2 was officially announced with a new trailer while also confirming a whole lot of information about the setting of this survival horror project. Check out the reveal trailer above. Leaving behind the Sevastopol space station, the sequel will take players to a remote colony world. With a Xenomorph (or more) on the loose, players will be navigating both the surface of the weather-ravaged planet as well as "the claustrophobic confines of the Weyland-Yutani outpost of Kurosaki Station." Interestingly, Creative Assembly is leaving behind Amanda Ripley, the daughter of Alien's Ellen Ripley, as the protagonist too. While it hasn't confirmed a name yet, players will be taking the role of a new character for this new adventure. The setting is also being described as a new hunting ground for the Alien. This will have players improvising and developing new tools to aid in their survival and escape, all to avoid "cinema’s deadliest killer." "It has been over a decade since we created the original Alien: Isolation and I am so excited to show everyone the first glimpse of the sequel," says Al Hope, Creative Director at Creative Assembly. "Our dedicated Survival team at Creative Assembly has been working hard to create a new, evolved Isolation experience continuing the legacy of the Alien franchise, making the eponymous killer smarter, the environment harsher and the chance of survival slimmer." Promising the same deadly tension from the original from over a decade ago, Alien: Isolation 2 is in development for PC, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PlayStation 5. A release date has not been announced yet.

    • Like the article stated, it's written completely from scratch, unlike the umpteen Chromium clones. It got its start as the browser built-in to the also written-from-scratch SerenityOS.
    • Hello, From looking at the screen shots in your motherboard's manual at https://endownload.colorful.cn/EnDownload/MotherBroard/2022/Intel 600/Manual/Intel 600 Series BIOS English/Intel 600 Series BIOS User Guide.pdf, you go to the ADVANCED option at the top of the BIOS (UEFI) menu, then select SECURITY in the list of options on the left.  From there  you can enable and set the Secure Boot mode. • Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3 is getting a simultaneous release across PC and all consoles by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Square Enix showed up to the Summer Game Fest presentation today with multiple trailers showing off its next chapter in the Final Fantasy VII Remake saga. The final chapter of this trilogy now has an official name too, with it being dubbed Final Fantasy VII Revelation, following up Final Fantasy VII Remake and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth from recent years. Vincent Valentine, Cid, Cloud, Barret, Tifa, and more showed up in the trailers as they battle against enemies, or 'Weapons,' from the final chapter. "As the world teeters on the brink of annihilation, the final battle against Sephiroth begins," says the trailer description. "A meteor mars the sky, monstrous planetary guardians wreak havoc across the globe, and the fires of war rage. Now, Cloud and his companions must stand against this chaos to not only decide the planet's fate, but bring a legendary conflict to its conclusion." Following the reveal trailer, the show also dropped some gameplay footage that shows off a new way to travel across the open world using the Highwind airship. Players will be able to swap characters on during battles, use tactical mode to synchronize with allies, and summon their entities. Cid Highwind and Vincent Valentine are joining the party this time too. “FINAL FANTASY VII, first released in 1997, has been beloved by fans for many years and has since become a “legend” in its own right," added producer Yoshinori Kitase. "The FINAL FANTASY VII Remake Series that began in 2020 with everyone’s passionate support is finally reaching its climactic finale with FINAL FANTASY VII REVELATION. The story’s final destination represents my emotions spanning thirty years working on this title" One of the biggest revelations of this announcement, however, was the multiplatform release confirmation from the get-go. Square Enix will be releasing Final Fantasy VII Revelation across PC, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PlayStation 5 in Spring 2027 without any timed exclusivity programs.
