you are ALL falling into my baits... darn the level of our ideas and thougs are different. Though i must admit mine are a bit higher than yours :)

not that you only have very "dark ages" thought of football.

after euro 2008 i will be following the posts you write in other threads...

i am sure "dark ages" thoughts will also continue.

The entire forum i just said turkey is better than switzerland.. i was called arrogant

than said turkey is better than czech and we would definitely beat and also said turkey is better than croatia and we would kick their butt

than i was again called arrogant.

these things i said are my beliefs to my team.. they turned out to be correct...

than you use the word "arrogant" just do defend your lack of football knowledge and dissaapointment.

atleast 100 people in this forum might say that..

BUT

100 people is not necessarily right and 1 person might just be way better than 100 thoughts.

:)

and so far..

I am that 1 person. this is not arrogance. this is FACT...

does this forum have +21 threads where i can actually contribute?

dont worry about it Alfista, i agree with you. in soccer any team can win. i dont understand why people dont take turkey more seriously. they beat croatia, who beat germany. so on wed anything can happen. i really wont be surprised if turkey wins.

anyway, dont waste your time listening to all these people. lets see what happens on wednesday and enjoy the game

finally. my friend thank you. this was the answer i alwasy wanted from certain people when turkey won. instead of calling me arrogant for my predictions.

since we are in such a serious conversation with you. i will tell you the truth.

Turkey will NOT beat Germany. never with 11 missing players.

but sure anythi,ng can happen after this stage.

thats true. unfortunately theyre in bad shape in terms of the roster. many players injured and suspended. of course anything can happen, but it'll be tough

i havent seen details about the actual players who are able to play on wed. do you know an actual count?

Nihat Kahveci

Servet Cetin

Emre Gungor

Emre Bolezoglu

Tumer Metin are all injured

Arda Turan

Tuncay Sanlı

Emre Asik

Volkan Demirel are all suspended.

and 2 other players have minor injury and wont play against germany but might play if we reach to the final.

The Euro Competition has 23 players as a roster... and turkey has 11 injured and suspended. so simply we do not even have any substitutions to mke besides our 3rd goalkeeper.

why all the doubt now, u was bigging up your team in previous posts!

that wa few days ago before all these suspensions and injuries. 11 missing players. from the 23 people roaster.

IF WE COULD bring in players i would still cheer for Turkey. but at this stage you can not invite other players.

so i am wise enough to admit that turkey's chances are very slim against germany.

because we will have midfielders playing in defence on Wednesday. and midfielders playing as forwards.

so i am admitting it now that turkey wont win.

i cant see any shame in this.

again as i said few days ago things were much different.

brutal. well in that case its going to be extemely difficult

all the best for them but i dont think theyll be able to take germany in that shape

It's sad that you think Turkey's the only team with injuries/suspensions. Or maybe... you're just conveniently ignoring other teams' problems...

Man look at the injuries and suspensions

Volkan Demirel (starting Keeper)

Servet Cetin (starting defender)

Emre Asik (starting defender)

Emre bolezoglu (starting midfielder)

Arda Turan (starting winger)

Tuncay Sanlı (startint winger)

Nihat Kahveci (starting striker)

Emre Gungor (substitute for starting defenders)

Tumer Metin (substitute for starting midfielders)

who else is having such a problem?

this is not an EXCUSE..

this is just WHY we wont be able to beat germany.

brutal. well in that case its going to be extemely difficult

all the best for them but i dont think theyll be able to take germany in that shape

i agree

i was never suprised to beat switzerland, croatia, or czech republic.. matter of fact i was SURE.

but i would be suprised if we can beat germany like this.

i wish we could invite some players to the tournament.

Which leads to a conclusion... Your A team isn't physically fit for this kind of a tournament. It's not my fault they're injured, and surely not all of them got injured by a single tackle. The ones with suspensions should've taken better care of what they do on the field.

man no one blamed you :)

I just read this

Turkey are so decimated by injuries and suspensions for the Euro 2008 semi-final against Germany that deputy keeper Tolgan Zengin may play outfield.

Coach Fatih Terim has nine players from his squad unavailable for Wednesday's clash in Basel.

And he said: "He could come on towards the end as a sub as last man in defence or a centre forward."

Terim added: "We can't allow ourselves the luxury of players choosing where they want to play."

Going to be interesting!

Italy might win in today's match.

i believe its going to be a fast paced game. both are mediterrenian teams and would play similar type of football.

Buffon is a great advantage for italy. he is on form as well. I just feel their defence are not doing much good...

On the other hand spain has a very good squad but somehow they are always running out of pace in the middle of the tournaments....

cant make up my mind about this game.

The excuses are coming out already.

Liverpool won the Champions League in 2005, even though we had a greater acumaltive injury list more than any other club in Europe.

and when did liverpool ever played in a game with 14 people.. 11 starting and 3 subs with 1 being a goalkeeper in 1 game?

at a semi final?

where liverpool could promote young players to play in the competition but turkey can not invite more players?

Edited by bmaher

Markus comedian...

people expected france and italy to be fast paced too and was it?

why didnt you show me that pic when everyone said obviously switzerland, czech republic and croatia would beat turkey?

for some of you that was obvious as well?

i want that rock for those games too...

Hm, talk about exaggerating...

Just look at your post after Turkey won against Switzerland.

and noone can change their mind?

i said now. today

after seeing the roster and unavailable players

we do not stand a chance because our 3rd and final sub is a goalkeeper..

I am mature enough to ADMIT that i was wrong in that prediction..

the key word here is MATURE...

but whom else admitted that they screwed up when they thought croatia, czech republic and switzerland would beat turkey?

instead of admitting everyone said next time you will loose...

and in each next time we WON

but it will not happen this time.

I have no favorites for tonight. Spain or Italy, it really doesn't matter to me.

By the way, and I asked this before, does anyone know how the TV channels know the distance run by the players in the games?

I think spain will win this game. Also thats a good point about distance run, ive always wondered that aswell!

    • OpenAI is rolling out a major upgrade to ChatGPT memory by Pradeep Viswanathan OpenAI is rolling out a major upgrade to ChatGPT's memory, making the system more capable, current, and scalable across long-term use. Memory allows ChatGPT to remember useful details about users, including their preferences, projects, and constraints. Instead of starting every conversation from scratch, ChatGPT can use this context to provide more relevant responses in future chats. OpenAI first launched saved memories in February 2024. That feature allowed users to explicitly ask ChatGPT to save information into its memory, such as travel plans or writing preferences. However, this system had limits because it depended heavily on users giving clear instructions to remember something. Additionally, saved memories could become stale over time. In April 2025, OpenAI expanded memory by allowing ChatGPT to reference past chat context outside the saved memories list. This was powered by a background process called “dreaming,” which automatically curates memories from chat history. This made ChatGPT better at learning from natural conversation without requiring users to manually save every detail. Today, OpenAI announced a more capable and compute-efficient memory architecture built on top of dreaming. This new system improves ChatGPT’s ability to carry forward useful context, follow user preferences, and remain accurate as time passes. According to OpenAI’s internal evaluations, the new system improves factual recall from 67.9% in 2025 to 82.8% in 2026. Preference adherence improves from 55.3% to 71.3%, while accuracy over time improves from 52.2% to 75.1%. The best part of this new system is a new memory summary page where users can review ChatGPT's memories. Users can even update details, correct information, or give instructions on what topics ChatGPT should bring up and when. This new, improved memory system is available to ChatGPT Plus and Pro users in the US starting today. It will roll out to more countries, as well as Free and Go users, in the coming weeks.
    • I work for a video production company in Australia. The camera operators shoot footage and then pass the SD card over to the editors. Much easier than handing over the entire camera. Plus, on a busy day you can hand off the SD card and then pop another in for the next shoot. Or, you might have used multiple SD cards because you need the extra space for a long shoot. I also use USB cables and wifi for transferring footage, but in many cases an SD card reader is the easiest method.

Microsoft Edge security and privacy features such as Microsoft Defender SmartScreen, Password Monitor, InPrivate search, and Kids Mode help keep you and your loved ones protected and secure online. Microsoft Edge has features to keep both you and your family protected. Enable content filters and access activity reports with your Microsoft Family Safety account and experience a kid-friendly web with Kids Mode. The new Microsoft Edge is now compatible with your favorite extensions, so it’s easy to personalize your browsing experience. Microsoft Edge 149.0.4022.52 changelog: Migration to improved V2 architecture for Workspaces. Workspaces, introduced in Edge in 2022, allows users to create durable sets of tabs that can be saved and shared with others. In order to improve reliability and performance of this feature, the following changes are being made: Migrating data for saved Workspaces from OneDrive/SharePoint to Edge Sync service Removing the collaboration/share functionality of this feature For organizations who have disabled Sync through policy, the existing v1 Workspace data will still be migrated to the new architecture. New v2 Workspaces created after migration won't sync across devices and will remain local to each device. This update occurs on a progressive rollout beginning in Edge Stable v145 and will continue rolling out in Edge v149. For more information, see Getting started with Microsoft Edge Workspaces. Feature Updates Passkey Sync for Enterprise Users. Microsoft Edge is introducing support for passkey synchronization for enterprise users, enabling secure, passwordless authentication across devices. Passkeys created in Edge can now be synced seamlessly, improving sign-in experience while maintaining strong security standards. Note: This is a controlled feature rollout. If you don't see this change, check back as we continue the rollout. Enterprise WebView2 runtime downgrade via DowngradeVersion policy. Administrators can temporarily roll back specific applications to a previous WebView2 Evergreen Runtime version (N-1 or N-2) using the new DowngradeVersion policy in msedgewebview2.admx. The Downgrade Version policy allows enterprises to mitigate critical regressions by specifying per-application exe-to-version mappings. The Edge Updater installs the target version side-by-side, and the WebView2 Loader redirects targeted apps accordingly. Downgrades auto-expire with each new WebView2 release: apps pinned to N-1 remain on the same version (now becoming N-2) and will auto-update in the next release, while apps pinned to N-2 will revert to the current Evergreen version. The policy applies only to enterprise-managed devices (domain-joined or MDM-enrolled). For more information, see Microsoft Edge WebView2 Policy Documentation | Microsoft Learn. Collections retirement. Collections has been removed in this update. Users can no longer access or use the feature. To keep saved content, users can export it, or move all pages to Favorites before updating to Microsoft Edge Stable 149. For more information, see Organize your ideas with Collections in Microsoft Edge - Microsoft Support. Modern, unified, and updated Look and Feel. Microsoft Edge has updated the Look and Feel to give customers a unified experience across all of Microsoft AI surfaces including Copilot and Bing. This changes multiple elements of the UX such as spacing, corners, fonts, default colors, etc. Clarify choices surrounding third-party cookie settings. Language under Settings > Privacy, search, and services > Cookies are clarified to better describe the choices users have in managing third-party cookies. Custom primary password retirement. Users are no longer able to create a new custom primary password in Edge Settings edge://settings/autofill/passwords/settings. Any users who are still using a custom primary password will be automatically migrated to device authentication. Additionally, the PrimaryPasswordSetting policy will no longer support the WithCustomPrimaryPassword option. For more information, see Keep your saved passwords private in Microsoft Edge | Microsoft Support. Unifying Copilot Chat policy controls. The Microsoft365CopilotChatIconEnabled policy is the standard for configuring Copilot Chat. Previously, this behavior was controlled by blocking the Copilot extension, either explicitly or by using the * wildcard via the ExtensionSettings or ExtensionInstallBlockList policies. Extension and sidebar policies no longer affect the appearance or functionality of Copilot Chat. Copilot address bar suggestions were also tied to extension policy settings. Starting in Microsoft Edge version 149, admins can use the CopilotAddressBarSuggestionsEnabled policy to manage this behavior. Intune MAM Protected Downloads. The protected downloads feature for Intune MAM is now available for BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) devices, which aren't managed by a tenant.
