I've just bought MS2 and R2 and they're really good (Y)

Plus all the other great multiplatform titles still come to the PS3 you know.

I think the key here really is the price. PS3 just isn't anywhere near cheap enough right now when people are watching their spending.

That I'll agree with.

The price needs to drop.

However Sony/Stringer are focusing on profit, understandably, but to what damage we'll need to see.

They'll be trying their hardest with pack-ins, but the price has to come down.

Well PS3 might be more expensive than 360, but people are buying it for blu-ray, also in Asda Thursday night for COD WAW, I would say half the people were buying PS3 version. of about 75-100 people there.

And Yes LBP came out on 5th November here in EU, and I think 28th in USA.

With BD players dropping to $128 and $178 on black Friday, I doubt Blu-ray will help ps3 much. If someone wants games as well as blu-ray then only it makes sense. The usual arguments of PS3 is a better blu-ray player (since it can update to newest profile) won't stand for an average consumer.

When I went for this interview for a job at GAME (which I got, btw) all of the other people I was being interviewed with had no clue what LBP was, and a couple hadn't even heard of it before. Everyone else had the general consensus that it wasn't a very important game and didn't really need to be near the top of the shelves.

Luckily, Mr. Internet Warrior here sung the praises of LBP which seemed to get me an extra bonus point with the guy who was interviewing me.

On the flipside though, the GAME store I'm actually working at (there's two in my town), the staff are all raving about LBP and all bought copies on launch. Go figure.

    • Marshall Major V Bluetooth headphones are now up to 47% off on Amazon by Ivan Jenic The Marshall Major V in Midnight Blue is currently $89.99 on Amazon, down from $169.99. That's 47% off and $80 saved on a pair of wireless on-ear headphones from one of the most recognizable names in audio. The Major V is Marshall's take on a long-lasting everyday headphone. The headphones deliver 100+ hours of wireless playtime, which puts them in a completely different category from most Bluetooth headphones that hover around 30-40 hours. You’re charging this thing once a week at most, and with wireless charging supported, you don’t have to worry about additional cables. Marshall promises its signature sound profile, with strong bass, smooth mids, and clear highs. There’s a customizable M-button, which you can set to quickly access Spotify Tap, your EQ settings, or a voice assistant. The design is foldable and lightweight at 186 grams, so it’s easy to pack for travel. And finally, the faux leather finish gives the Major V a sleek, premium look. At $89.99, the Major V Midnight Blue is a genuinely strong buy for anyone who wants a reliable daily headphone without paying premium prices. It’s also worth mentioning that the Cream and Brown variants are also discounted to $89.99, though from a lower original price of $99.99. • +1 on XVI. I still use it.

    • I remember when all games had demos; it was a normal thing, not a limited time promotion.
