All I can think of when you call it Kraft Dinner is the Barenaked Ladies:

If I had a million dollars

We wouldn't have to eat Kraft Dinner

But we would eat Kraft Dinner

Of course we would, we?d just eat more

And buy really expensive ketchups with it

That?s right, all the fanciest ke... dijon ketchups!

Mmmmmm, Mmmm-Hmmm

And as far as I know, it still tastes the same though. That could be because I eat Kraft Macaroni & Cheese, not Kraft Dinner...lol

I might have to go make some...

I learned long ago to tweak Kraft Mac & cheese, for maximum heart-clogging fatage. :woot:

1. Ignore box directions

2. Boil enuff of the noodles as you plan to eat.

I just make hot water in the microwave using a ceramic bowl, then add macaroni and let it soak a while, then drain.

3. Slice up a small box of Velveeta cheese, or as much as you need to make the noodles creamy.

Don't over do it.

4. Mix in some of the 'cheese' sauce package along with the noodles & Velveeta.

5. Melt in the microwave until reasonably hot.

I sprinkle on a bit more of the cheese sauce powder on top, after it's done.

I don't use up the entire package of the Kraft cheesy powder at once -- usually it lasts me several times making mac & cheese.

Of course you will need to vary the amount of Velveeta and powder you use, depending on servings and guests you have.

Maybe there are better recipies for mac & cheese, but I'll strongly argue with you. :p

I had a box of Kraft Mac & Cheese laying around in the pantry from 2006... I figured it was safe to eat because everything is freeze-dried or whatever. I made it and when I stirred in the cheese packet, it turned an orange-brown color... I actually tried some.. :x

And how did it taste?

If you're going the real Mac and Cheese route, which I recommend if you're willing to make it, sprinkle corn flakes on top and cover them with another light layer of cheese. It creates a nice crispy "layer" on top. You honestly need to try it if you haven't already.
