Is MSN/WLM messing up?

First it kicked me and all my contacts off, then when we were all signed back on wouldn't let us send messages and then finally kicked us off again.

Is anyone else getting this/Where are you geographically?

yea kept saying some crap about service not available on mine.

finally let me on a minute ago there but without any contact info.

then a stream of them sign in but it wont let me send anything.

of course the service status page is about as useful as a neon light flashing suit in a covert surveillance scenario.
