To be completely honest with you, its an aging system and I don't think anymore money should be put into upgrading it. Even if you did get it for for free.

Save up your money and build yourself a new and more updated system.

well im not really a hard core gamer

but i am going to keep it for other reasons and yes i will be doing a new build soon

but i am one to go for looks

and preformance

i know its olb but only like 4-5 years

and its performance is better than you would think

but i understand where u r comming from

but its basicaly a pratice piece

to try some mods out on and see what i like

and it runs super cool

so i am lookin into the "pencil trick" for amd processors

rite now the comp it running at 93 with the fans at 55%

but thank you for the advice

more replys welcome

thanks guys

jake

93F how much is that in C? Well if you insist on spending money on it, then do case mods at the very most. Don't bother buying hardware to try and squeeze more performance out of it; you'll just end up spending more money than you need to. :)

i plan to

and i will attempt to overclock it as well

but i know my stuff so i will take it slow

:D

and i am picking up a 512 of ddr ram to put me at a gig

and ill be set

also from a friend prob under $15

but i will get the case and prob flip it and sell it with teh new ram and so one

to make it sound attractive and so forth

thats when ill be piecing together my new rig

ok so today i added a 4th fan in the front and wired it to a 12v source on the power supply

and i am off to go get a 512 ddr ram stick to put me at 1 gig

will help my preformance a bit

be back soon

and guys tell me some ideas

ill try a few maybe if i like them

thanks

c ya

today i added my 2nd monitor for dual setup

so tomorow i am gettin the card for them

and then ill be uploading pics

and in a week or so ill be buying a case

then i think ill be done

after a few more tweaks hear and there

anyone else have suggestions?

please i need ideas

jake

Please clean up the grammar first!. How about you cut a big hold in the side of the case as a window? Always works well. Don't get anymore fans otherwise that thing is probably gonna sound like its lifting off lol. How about some lighting to go with the window? I got a few other ideas but don't wanna bloat my post down let me know what you think and I will give some more ideas

    • Can confirm, I've built stuff for others and no complaints using their products.
    • Yes I agree, it's annoying. You can now miss tabs unless you point low enough.
