[Series 11] Top Gear

Recommended Posts

Yeah - I don't get that either. I think it is actually more down to the Top Gear team than it is the BBC. Now that their challenges, etc have got more elaborate and expensive to do, I don't see how they could afford to do a series that lasts 12 or more episodes with some of the crazy stuff they do these days.

I'd frankly be quite happy if they just went back to some general car tests for half of the episodes and then had half of them for big races, ?1,000 car challenges, etc but it seems now that the majority of the public (people who don't care about car shows, and torque and BHP, and information about handling) and those who just wanna see stuff being blown up and taking the mick out of Hammond get the majority vote and the people who've been fans of Top Gear since forever don't get what they really want!

Anyone watch the "best of" last night? There was a part where they kept blurring parts of the screen and the hosts and putting up a black box saying "CENSORED". I was confused for a bit then I worked it out, it was when they smoked those Porsche pipes!

What is the world coming to?

yea it was edited from what was originally broadcast, eg the interview with hamilton had no mention of the pubes question

What's the deal with Top Gear seasons seemingly getting shorter and shorter? I don't understand why the BBC would limit the number of shows on one of it's most popular programs.

I know, its crap.

maybe its to do with the rising costs (petrol, travel etc) and the stars are quite well paid too.

Creating diagrams in the desktop app doesn’t need an internet connection. This is useful when you are disconnected or when you must create diagrams in a highly secure environment, where data protection is of the utmost importance. When you use the draw.io desktop app, your diagrams will be stored on your local device. Because this is a stand-alone application, also designed to run offline, there are no interfaces to cloud storage platforms available. Of course, you can still store your diagrams in folders that are synchronised to your cloud storage if you wish. Easy-to-use diagram editor The draw.io apps work just like the office and drawing tools you are used to using. Drag and drop shapes from the shape libraries and drag to draw connectors between them. Drag connectors to add waypoints and set a precise shape and position, or let them reroute automatically. Double click and start typing to add a label to anything. Create tables and swimlane flows with a familiar tool. Style shapes and connectors with customisable palettes, sketch options, fonts and text formatting tools. Search for shapes, including in open-source icon libraries. Use our vast libraries of shapes and templates, organised into logical categories, to create a range of diagrams and infographics.
