This is the game, nice and light client, plenty of beta players... in case you are not familiar with the genre, this isn't like FIFA you don't control players directly but you manage a squad aka being general manager.

I thought it was the biggest pile of **** ever, and stopped playing it completely after I returned from holiday. My highlight was signing Giles Barnes :p

I hope it has been improved considerably.

I love Football Manager, but I just can't see myself paying to play FML on a regular basis. Also, if you join up later than the majority it's highly unlikely you'll sign anyone good as all the decent players will probably have been taken.
