Ran into an interesting problem, my girlfriends Mac cannot mount .dmg files (haven't tested any other files). My first thought was that the .dmg file was corrupt, but I was able to install the same file on a different Mac. Here is the error I'm getting, when I double click on the .dmg file:

error 0xe00002c9

The only thing I have tried is repairing the permissions (through the Disk Utility).

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Which OS?

Tiger,

The normal diagnostic steps to most OS X problems go like this,

Check for any possible updates

Run Disk Utility, Repair Permissions, then Repair Drive/Filesystem/Disk (Need to be booted on OS 10 DVD)

Run the Onyx automation scripts

If you do all of them and it still dosnt fix it then i'm pretty confused.. :D
