I was watching (periodically looking at the screen) the Spurs match with a few mates in Liverpool.

I might have been pretty drunk at the time (sobered up a bit now, or at least enough to spell), but Modric's goal looked like pure comedy at the time.

It was comedy, very funny goal. The celebration was even funnier if you saw that too

Keane has a hole in his foot.

Jermain Defoe is one of the most sought after strikers in the transfer window having revealed that he wants to leave Fratton Park.

His first choice destination would be a return Tottenham Hotspur but it appears Spurs are not willing to pay the ?20 million asking price.

And it has now been revealed that Italian side Juventus are now in the race for the England striker, as are Manchester City.

His stance has sparked vitriolic response from some sections of the Portsmouth support andDefoe has confessed to getting 'sick' death threats on his mobile phone>, which have left him understandably 'upset'.

That's just disgusting.. :crazy::

Man u for us next :|

Roots Hall is a nasty place to play at if you are a big girls blouse Chelsea player.

I hope it's not tooooo cold for them when the wind swirls up from the Thames Estuary and bounces off Sutton Road up their short shorts.

Saafend will probably win 3 or 4 nill.

Ha ha ha ha ha

Nice sig bobgreg, you lot are turning into Everton...always obsessed with us

Ha ha ha ha!

Really gregb0b is a closet Liverpool fan just doesn't want to admit it :p

Its true - first step in confronting your inner self is to admit the denial.

Second step is to start singing you'll never walk alone ;)

Cmon gregb0b, you know you want to wear the might Liver badge on your chest :D

i should make my sig have the epl standings.... or 5 stars etc etc...

we are going to hammer everton btw and tottenham is will beat man u, and i am pretty sure your sig breaks the guidelines... not because of the size, but because its fugly

The wily Scot (Fergie) is quoted as saying by Sky Sports: "Liverpool? There's no doubt that in the second half of the season they will get nervous.

"With the experience we've got - having won a couple of titles in the past couple of years especially - it helps you. There's no doubt about that.

"They're going into the unknown, and if you make mistakes, then you are punished."

Sir Alex Ferguson's Premier League Mind Games: available wherever press gather until May.

Hey the Reds? What do you lot say to this? :p

    • I can name 10x that on why not to switch.... It's funny outlook/office are going towards web app wrappers, and then MS is now preaching native apps again.... ugh can we just pick a lane and stay in it
    • Absolutely NOBODY has suggested such a conclusion. I am affirming the sober reality check that AV2's overall market adoption will take longer than AV1's adoption rate -- which, by the way, is the whole point of the article! While PCI-SIG is productive (on paper), other WGs have created all sorts of confusing progress plans that consumers have tuned-out of their improvements... HTML/W3C, USB, HDMI, BT, WIFI (ieee802.11) as a few other groups where spec naming conventions, split progress paths, overlapping ambitions... I'm not critiquing the AV specs group; I'm simply affirming that adoption for AV2 faces headwinds beyond the macroeconomics of it all.
