Changing Icons

How to change the Icons like My Computer, My Documents, Filetype Icons etc. I know Iconpackager but is there any freeware utility?

You can change the basic icons without any special utility, just by using Windows. The location of the configuration dialogs differ in each Windows versions, but basicly start in Display Control Panel when customizing the basic icons, look for customize buttons in folder properties and also check the Folder Control Panel.

Just grab Iconphile from somewhere. I guess it's quite old but that's what I use.

Do you mean change the actual icon or just the shortcut icon?
