What do you do to get to sleep?

I close my eyes.

....

Drew back the curtain,

To see for certain,

What I thought I knew.

Far, far away

Someone was weeping,

But the world was sleeping,

Any dream will do

The only way for me to fall asleep is to blank out everything... kinda hard when all I ever do is think about everything -.- lots of sleepless nights for me.

i heard that it was a studied fact that if you lie down in the fetal position or something similar to it.. then if you squeeze/tense your muscles all over your body for a couple of minutes and then let go, you fall asleep faster. I personally tried it once and actually fell asleep quick despite drinking coffee before sleeping.

usually i listen to trance music before sleeping.. it enduces sleep. what can i say! works for me...and works good!

Armin Van buuren- A state of Trance weekly episodes. non stop trance music 2 hours straight. keep your ipod on repeat once mode.. and nighty night! enjoy sleeping.

I cannot sleep with TV or Music on. It's way to distracting to me and keeps my mind running.

Couple of things that help me sleep.

1.) Fan (keep cool and white noise)

2.) 69 degrees Fahrenheit

No matter if its Winter or Summer, I need my fan to sleep.

rubbing one off helps, especially when I'm frustrated or under pressure from uni and have trouble sleeping. Usually I would read or just listen to some music as I dose off. I have habit of kicking about even in deep sleep, a childhood habit and that helps me sleep.

I'm an instant sleeper. I can pass out anytime I want, even if it's for a short nap. I just love sleeping :D

I listen to podcasts every night, but it takes me a long time to get through the podcast lol. I wish I had time during the day to listen to them

Only when I really can't too sleep: Breath in slowly into your stomach through your nose, and out through your mouth. Anything thats on your mind imagine being placed inside a bin, till all there is, a big black space with a bin there. Then every breath you take in imagine a blue, relaxing, calm myst entering you, the more you breath in the more there is, and eventually this will put me too sleep.

And if that fails... ######.

I use a hammer. It's painful, but it's instant.

Scirwode

That explains a few things about you... Though hitting ones head hard enough is proven effective none the less.
