Orange MMS & Internet settings for O2 XDA IIi

Just got my new mobile from a fellow neowin member this morning, and im after the MMS and Internet settings for the handset, its a O2 XDA IIi Pocket PC, i did try and ring Orange but the person who i spoke with said that the systems where currently down...

Does anyone know the settings, or know where i can get them?

Orange MMS settings:

Note: Orange must enable MMS for your account. Contact Orange Customer Services

Access Point Name: orangemms

Username: Orange

Password: Multimedia

Authentication: Normal

Data bearer: GPRS

Gateway IP (proxy) address: 192.168.224.10

Port: 9201 (some users have reported 8080 works if 9201 doesn't)

Session mode: Permanent

MMS Message (Relay) Server URL http://mms.orange.co.uk/

Orange GPRS settings (Email/Web):

Homepage: http://orange.multimedia/

APN address: orangeinternet

APN add. (Old PAYG): payginternet

Username: user

Password: pass

Authentication: Normal

Email SMTP server: smtp.orange.net

Prim. DNS Server: 158.43.192.1

Sec. DNS Server: 158.43.128.1

Start –> settings –> connections –> connections

under My ISP, chose “add a new modem connection”

Enter: Orange Internet

Select a modem — Cellular line (gprs)

Click next

Access point : orangeinternet

Click next

Username: user

Password: pass

Domain : 158.43.192.1 or 192.168.71.35

Click Finish

I don't remember where to go for mms.

I'm wondering tho if orange dont have an automatic config file that can be sent to your phone I know it was possible in the past. did this change?!

well i rang up orange again and the idiot person hadnt even heard of the XDA, so im going into my local Orange store in the morning to get this sorted

Orange Employees will probably not of heard of the XDA as it is an Exclusive O2 handset. I doubt they will have any knowledge about the phone to be honest.

I hope they can sort it out for you in the shop though :)
