Too late to start watching Heroes?

As I have noticed more and more especially here on the forums, Heroes is a big hit. The thing is, I haven't seen even 5 minutes of an episode before so I actually have no real opinion on it. With so many episodes aired, is it worth it to try to get into the show? If I have the chance, should I go through and watch seasons 1 and 2?

yes .. get the dvds/hd-dvds and catchup (thats how i got into Lost) .. season 1 was fantastic, the short season 2 was fine, but season 3 will be just awesome from what i've read (can't wait!)

It's not too late. You can always buy the episodes on DVD and watch them. It's a great show and I think you'll love it.

It looks like I can watch all of season 2 online here but that leave me without an option for season 1. I really don't want to mess around with buying season 1, but it looks like I might be running out of options.

I should have started late with both Lost & Heroes. Reason. The season breaks are so long you tend to forget a lot of stuff. Unless you become a hardcore geek of the show or have great memories, little tidbits are gonna leak.

So yeah, its perfect to start out now.

I just thought I would post because I saw a commercial for season three and it said something like it wouldn't start until September, is that right?

Yeah it does start in September, can you rent Season 1 anywhere like Netflix? because you really need to see Season 1 before getting to Season 2.

I was FAR from hooked after the 1st episode - was ready to walk away and leave it. But my GF kept watching it, and so I sorta kept watching it - and THEN got into it.

I think I can get a hold of season 1 through a friend, but it will take a couple of days before I can get it from him (stupid gas prices :p).

Both series I eventually loved, but not keen at first.

Guys, I was in luck today. After I called my friend to see if I could borrow them, he said he was going to be in town tonight so he brought season 1.

Just watched the first episode....loved it. Not sure what else to say other than, I must watch! :D

I would definitely recommend Heroes. It is a wonderful show, and I'm sure most people would enjoy it.

Now I think I will just try to watch one a day at least to get up to season 2. Even if I go by that plan and finish season 2, I will still have plenty of time before season 3 starts.

I just started watching heroes first season 2 weeks ago. doing about an episode per day. very nice.

I finally had time to watch the second episode and once again wow, just wow. This show demands that you pay attention from the first 5 minutes of each episode. I love the concurrent stories (or so I thought :p) because they make you focus on what is going on.

Oddly enough, I think I actually picked up on a subtle hint the show was dropping. I saw that weird symbol about 3-4 times in different parts of episode two. I want to say it is that Siler guy's symbol, but I'm not sure.

If anybody has any "suggestive" hints they want to drop without giving any spoilers away, that would be nice.

I honestly love this show more than any other I have ever seen. I have always been a big fan of superhero-type stuff and this this adds so much suspense and even makes you feel like it's possible...

It's funny, I'm actually having a few friends over to watch Heroes Season 1 over again on Friday. A couple of the people have never seen it before so it will be a fun night. :D I own both seasons.

I think that is part of why I love this show so much. I have always loved a little dash of superhero type shows whether it was anime's Teen Titans or stuff like the X-Men, this show has it for me.

What makes it even better that instead of "seeing" the powers that viewers could easily make fun of for not being realistic or whatever, you see subtle hints of them. Right now it keeps everybody happy. :D
