What shows did you initially hate and then warm up to?

Recommended Posts

I have so many!

I hated King of the Hill when I first saw it and avoided it like the plague, and I eventually ended up really enjoying the show.

Aqua Teen Hunger Force! Now I thought who the hell would watch this show about a meat ball and a fryman unless they are constantly stoned out of their minds. I now love that show! especially meatwad hehe. A little bit of the same thing with Robot Chicken.

What about you guys?

haha me too.. once I saw megan fox on it I was sold.

Megan Fox is on there? Must watch...:D

Law and Order (especially SVU). I initially thought those kinds of shows were for older people and wouldn't interest me, but I couldn't have been more wrong. I know love SVU and can't wait for the new episodes.

I originally didn't watch Family Guy at all. I can't remember wither i didn't like it or i just didn't watch, but i didn't quite get into it until about '05 when i seen a few episodes. Now i love it so much I've went back and seen every episode and man it was fun going through all of them. Great Series.

Scrubs and The Daily Show. oddly i was in love with Colbert the first time i saw him :p

i never actually saw an entire episode of scrubs or TDS, only bits and pieces where they act really wierd and stupid so i was put off. but my friend forced me to sit down and watch a couple of episodes (of both series) and now i'm addicted

especially Scrubs, it's an absolutely amazing show

Hannah Montana

Suite Life of Zack & Cody

Sponge Bob Square Pants

Josh & Drake

I'm way too old to be watching any kids show. But my cousin is always watching them when I'm on the computer. I can't avoid them so overtime, I just learn to enjoy them for what they are.

Superficial commercialised garbage?

Dare i say it but Lost. Never watched the first three seasons at all. Then got some DVDs from friend and over about 6 weeks went through all of it from scratch and got myself hooked. Midway through season 4 finally got around to watching it on TV properly.

Heroes ? I didn?t really like the sound of a show about people who had super powers, however a friend lent me the DVD box set and told me watch a few episodes and you will be hooked. After watching the first 2 episodes I was indeed hoo:Dd :D

Top Gear ? It didn?t used to appeal to me thinking the show was about some guys talking about cars for an hour, but after watching the episode where they turn cars in to boats and the American special at a friend?s one evening I realised just how funny it is even when they were reviewing cars.

    • Too late for a slightly older computer I had that didn't meet the hardware requirements for Windows 11 but had great hardware. I installed ubuntu on that thing and gave to a friend's kid.
