skiiper
I dont normally listen to soft, slow songs. But recently I found that I helped me get to sleep better. Can anyone suggest some songs/albums, maybe similar to Jack Johnson's In Between Dreams album that I can download buy? Can be girl singers too, I dont really care, as long as it can put me to sleep. GenesisV8man
Not soft but good music. I do know there is a classical version of this song somewhere. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/647904-i-need-some-soft-music/#findComment-589541808 Share on other sites

spavacer
My Girlfriend was watching a movie while I was trying to sleep a few months ago. As I was drifting off I heard music from the movie and found it very soothing. The next day I asked her the movie so I could find the song. The movie was The Mist and the Song was The Host Of Seraphim by Dead Can Dance. I've used a lot of their songs to go to sleep. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000S2B63...60&sr=102-3 Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/647904-i-need-some-soft-music/#findComment-589541828 Share on other sites

~WinGz~
I listen to piano songs, songs of storm or rain. Both work really well for me, I even crank up the surround sound when im getting ready for bed when its a storm or rain song I play. RuudJacobs.NET
Amos Lee's slow tunes do the trick. Another solution is scare yourself to sleep with Opeth. Lord Nite
I normally listen to some early Matchbox 20 (Yourself or Someone Like You) to fall asleep to. Normally I can get through three songs before I'm out like a light. sanctified Veteran Posted July 12, 2008 Veteran Share Posted July 12, 2008 Anything by Brian Eno, specially Music for Airports. You could also grab some "Bhoren und der club of Gore", a very slow and ambiental jazz group (Yeah, I know that the name its not a very good indicative :p) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/647904-i-need-some-soft-music/#findComment-589550629 Share on other sites

Lurchybaby
I always found Kenny G (jazz sax instrumental - though he does collaborate with singers from time to time - in case you didn't already know) to be rather soothing.
