AppStore = Crappy apps so far

With the 5th Gen iPod games, there was a flash demo. Apple should have demanded the apps on the AppSore also inlude such a thing.

And anyways, whether or not DRM can be broken is irrelavant. We sould be able to try the softweare before realising it's complete iCrap and we can't get our money back. Try our 10 apps are your are out around $50+

Has anyone found Google Mobile App in the AppStore yet? I can't find it, I thought it would have been ready by now since Google is already advertising it:

I couldn't find it either, but I presumed that's cause I'm in the UK. I think it's available in the US.

The Remote app is way cool.

Crappy? I'm loving it. I've already downloaded about 10 apps so far and am in love with those. My favorite is by far the AOL Radio app. I've been streaming a talk radio and classical music stations in my office all morning now (my office cannot get radio, all I get is static and streaming off my companies network is blocked).

Uh, what? Google Mobile was one of the first apps I downloaded when the store opened up :p

iTunes Store > App Store > Top Free Apps (it's the bottom section on the right hand side of the App Store home page, it's #10).

If you still can't find it, then I presume you're right, ynnoj.

I tried searching the whole store over the weekend, and nothing came up :(

In the iTunes store at the bottom of the page you can change your store location to United States and then you will have access to the Google Mobile App. However, you have to create a new account to obtain it.

Is there any other way to obtain this app?

For international users who want the Google Mobile App here is some news as of 40 minutes ago,

Hey all,

Sorry for not including this in my original post, but I wanted to

confirm that the Google Mobile App is currently only available in the

US App Store. We are working on making it available in other countries

soon. I'll keep everyone updated so please hold tight :)

Cheers,

Mobile Guide Chris

    • I noticed this was already happening within my organization; my teams location will change between remote and on-site without me having to do anything. Is it possible this is live already for select customers?
    • I wonder what it will show when I'm plugged in with my ethernet cable at home and not using WiFi.
    • While LibreOffice is not pleased to see a new competitor, they are absolutely correct in stating that Euro-Office using a MS file standard as a default is not being truly "European." Using a MS standard just means Euro-Office is just a "bastardized MS Office Suite." (Wasn't a major purpose of Euro-Office was to get away from being captive and enslaved to MS's Office Suite??)
    • Microsoft continues its long-term policy of spying on their users--despite vehement denials. That feature will be disabled (or removed) either "elegantly" with MS providing a true way to disable it, or "quick and dirty" via a third-party who WILL come up with a way to disable it.
