I thought the costume codes coukd be used over and over no?

AB, or whomever really, if you can you send me a code you already used for Kratos (or anyone else) and let me give it a shot?

It's a USA copy I have! I got it early off Ebay.

That would be awesome thanks :D

How did you get a spare? I thought it was for pre-ordering

yeah, i pre-ordered the game at bestbuy.com, but later decided to cancel that and just pre-order in store. i got a code from the store, but then a few weeks later they still sent me the code from my website pre-order...so i ended up with 2. ;)

i'll send you the code in a couple of hours.

Yeah I will do, I'll send you over my code tonight for Kratos and see if it works (and Nariko once I get it)!

Awesome, thanks (Y)

Bit concerned by the server performance - was playing a multiplayer game and my sackperson was lag-warping all over :/

seems like the same as the beta then, which is disappointing. the only thing i didn't like about the beta was the lag.

i hope this gets sorted and its not a permanent thing. if it is, MM should say something about it instead of keeping quiet.

did they ever mention anything about the lag in the beta???

I sent an email to Sendit.com, as they did have LBP listed for 14th Nov, well I got a reply saying that the item will not be dispatched until 07/11/2008, so making me wonder where to pre-order, as I am sure UK places will start to get them on the 3rd.

Article on Kotaku on the servers.

Media Molecule lets us know that, no, we're not losing our minds, the servers for LBP are down. They took them down about eight hours after they went live to avoid "glitching issues" some people were seeing that was affecting offline play. They tell us that the servers will be back online just as soon they can get their hands on whatever little SackGremlin is causing the problems in their servers.

Played the "Trophies Ahoy" level (lulz), and the only trophy I actually got from it was when I gave it a 3-star rating. Whatever it was that was supposed to give me great speed had already, erm, shot it's load (so to speak), got nothing from the great height, and I'd already gotten myself the 20x multiplier.

I think I'm gonna attempt to create a full-on niteclub... lmao.

A level called 7 Trophies in One or something is good.

I got them all from it.

WastedJoker even although he complained about the trophy levels is on the scoreboard for this level as well  :p

I'll wait until next week or so to jump back online w/ LBP. I'll be out of town this weekend for a gig, and I can ###### out Bioshock and GTA4 first while MM sorts out their servers. Took me about 20 minutes (and nearly a PS3 reboot) to even play just that one level. I thought something was wrong at first.

The lag really needs to be fixed. Just not in game lag but when you are trying to find a level lag.

Also one day we need to setup a time were there can be four of us online at a time to get that one trophy.

    • Threads scales past half a billion users, brings deeper community and feed controls by Fiza Ali Meta has announced Threads crossing a major milestone of 500 million monthly active users. And, at the heart of this growth sits something simple: communities. From books to basketball, parenting to music, Threads says its rise has been powered by people clustering around shared interests and, in turn, giving the platform its identity. In response, the platform is expanding its Communities feature beyond beta and introducing a set of new tools designed to make participation easier and more engaging. A redesigned Communities Hub will now appear in the main navigation menu, allowing users to jump between groups without leaving their feed. Each community will also receive a distinct Community Icon, giving them clearer visual identity and making them easier to recognise across the platform. Then there’s Community Progress, which is a kind of live gauge showing how close a topic is to becoming a full-fledged community, alongside guidance on how users can contribute to its development. In addition, Meta is also expanding its Community Champions programme, recognising more users who actively contribute to community engagement. And then things go more local; Local Communities is already available in 100 countries, including North America, South America, Asia, and Europe but are now rolling out with native-language tags starting in Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan. The platform is also expanding Live Chats to more communities in the coming weeks, adding features such as co-hosting and the ability to quote moments directly into users’ feeds. Beyond communities, Meta is tightening the loop between users and their feeds. Earlier this year came "Dear Algo," a feature that lets people tell Threads what they want more or less of. Now it’s being paired with a new tool, "Your Algo." It allows people to adjust how frequently certain topics appear, with options lasting one, three, or seven days. Meta says these preferences remain private and can be managed alongside “Dear Algo” in a unified settings hub. The rollout begins in the US, Canada, UK, Australia, and New Zealand. Finally, the company says these changes are part of an ongoing effort to refine Threads based on user feedback and that further updates will continue as the platform evolves.
