Gameplay features include an automated split-screen sightjacking mode that allows the player to see through the eyes of others while continuing to play normally. Over 50 weapons are available throughout, each with its own unique finishing moves. Stealth is also a large part of the gameplay.

Siren Blood Curse is the first online distributed episodic console game ever. Alongside Warhawk & GT5P it's redefining what quality we can expect from next-gen downloadable titles.

Was browsing GAF and I noticed this is coming out in 2 days!

I also didn't know it's made by the guy who d:|e Silent Hill 1 :| Awesome! I love SH1.

Anyone else planning on buying this? Looks like it might be a sleeper hit of the summer.

The:|railer is scary :|

I was/still am looking forward to this, but I did try the demo out the other day just for like 5 minutes as I had to go out with my in laws for dinner, and the controls definitely did seem a little off to me as I had read in a few early previews, so I definitely need to really sit down with the demo and make a decision.

Also instead of starting a new thread about it, what is the easiest way to back up my data for switiching out the HDD? Just reading this is 9GB, and also with the movies now being offered, it got me thinking I should maybe finally swap out my 60GB for a larger drive which I had planned on doing all along. So can I just back up all of my current data to an external USB drive, and is there an easy way to do it? I do not want to have to reenter all of my friends list and download all of the PSN games I own again if I can avoid doing so.

Just go to backup on the PS3 XMB.

It will ask you to plug in a USB device (such as a hard drive or memory stick). It will then tell you if you have enough space, and if so, ask if you want to backup everything or just system files (system files means just profiles, you'll want to backup everything so you don't need to redownload PSN stuff).

Is that a bad thing? The first Silent Hill was fantastic!

Just because they took all the SH elements doesnt mean it will be as good. I am worried about the lack of originality.

Nice, did not even know for sure if that option was there. Thanks. (Y)

I take it you didn't play Siren on the PS2?

This game is essentially a remake of that title.

Trust me, it's pretty original.

Was a difficult yet awarding game to approach on the PS2, but the purpose of this remake is to make it more accessible to everyone.

By the way, word is this game is now up!

Pretty sure I will be picking this up fairly soon.

There is not a retail version correct? Just all through the PSN? Pretty sure I know that answer is No, just double checking.

I think there is a BR version in Asia/Japan, but I don't know about USA/Europe.

So I guess they never heard of Tomb Raider and Penny Arcade.

Probably mean on PSN, or the first to come out.

Is Penny Arcade or Tomb Raider out?

Siren: Blood Curse released in Europe at higher price than previously announced

SCEE?s released DLC horror Siren: Blood Curse in Europe. It?s on the PSN now in 12 episodes.

Each pack of three episodes costs ?6.99, not ?4.99 as we were originally told.

Source

Full game is still ?19.99

Obviously the incentive is to buy the full game rather than the episodes.

If you buy everything separately it will come to ?28 instead.

It was never going to be ?4.99, if it were, buying the episodes all separately would've cost ?19.96, which is cheaper than the full g:/e :/

Is this a survival horror like RE?

might give it a whirl

More like Silent Hill than RE.

There's a demo up for it. Might only be on the American PSN store though, but it's region free so download away.

You are right, never played it but dont tell me this Trailer its very similar to the SH series. :s

Played the demo yesterday, short but good, I like this kind of game.

The only downside is that it looks like a PS2 port (maybe it is? I wasn't actually following this title so I don't know). Still, an attractive title for me.

Looks like a PS2 port? In what way does it look like a PS2 game? If you mean in terms of story/gameplay then you are right, it's a new game based on an old PS2 title. If you mean in terms of graphics, models etc you really need to pay a visit to Specsavers ;)

    • Zen Browser 1.21.4b by Razvan Serea Zen Browser is a privacy-focused, open-source web browser built on Mozilla Firefox, offering users a secure and customizable browsing experience. It emphasizes privacy by blocking trackers, ads, and ensuring your data isn't collected. With Zen Mods, users can enhance their browser experience with various customization options, including features like split views and vertical tabs. The browser is designed for efficiency, providing fast browsing speeds and a lightweight interface. Zen Browser prioritizes user control over the browsing experience, offering a minimal yet powerful alternative to traditional web browsers while keeping your online activity private. Zen Browser’s DRM limitation Zen Browser currently lacks support for DRM-protected content, meaning streaming services like Netflix and HBO Max are inaccessible. This is due to the absence of a Widevine license, which requires significant costs and is financially unfeasible for the developer. Additionally, applying for this license would require Zen to be part of a larger company, similar to Mozilla or Brave. Therefore, DRM-protected media won't be supported in Zen Browser for the foreseeable future. Zen Browser offers features that improve user experience, privacy, and customization: Privacy-Focused: Blocks trackers and minimizes data collection. Automatic Updates: Keeps the browser updated with security patches. Zen Mods: Customizable themes and layouts. Workspaces: Organize tabs into different workspaces. Compact Mode: Maximizes screen space by minimizing UI elements. Zen Glance: Quick website previews. Split Views: View multiple tabs in the same window. Sidebar: Access bookmarks and tools quickly. Vertical Tabs: Manage tabs vertically. Container Tabs: Separate browsing sessions. Fast Profile Switcher: Switch between profiles easily. Tab Folders: Organize tabs into folders. • I was using searxng for about a year , self hosted, but results were starting to timeout and eventually it became unusable so I switched to degoog. Much better for my needs, more polished and add-ons like maps and calculations etc

    • Hello, I am not as familiar with AMD CPUs as I am with Intel's, but as I understand it, that's a mid-range CPU from about three years ago.  I would think it to be fine for everyday casual-type use.  A larger SSD might be better, but with storage prices these days that's a decision that has to be carefully thought about.
