in my opinion the best (comercial) program is Dreamweaver MX, but i want know if is there one freeware as good as Dreamweaver... im looking one for linux too...

You're absolutely right, Dreamweaver MX is THE BEST when it comes to professional web design. There's some decent freeware editors out there; you can find some at www.hotscripts.com. But the truth is, you get what you pay for, and in my opinion the $100 for Dreamweaver was money well spent.

yep i agree. that whole ?0 ($0) that i spent was difinitally worth it.

DW-MX is brilliant. DW4 sucked so bad! they've done a whole lot better now and i cant even remember how to use Front Page2000

before i got dreamweaver i was using a really nice freebie called 1st Page 2000 from Evrsoft. Best free program i ever used
