Website name?

I have created a site which I have uploaded for demo purposes and after its completion I will launch it with a .com domain. It is 90% complete but a little work is required such as some alignment and etc....But the topics are clear on the page so would you please help me on thinking a name of site and I will also but the domain with that name. Well, you can see the navigation bar. It is not made for a specific topic but many topics are there. I have thought some names like:

edupeople

educorner

educenter

peoplescorner

[Another Canuck]

I find the best way to come up with a website name, is to immidiately list any words that come to mind (ANY!)

Then once you have enough (you be the judge) try and jumble the ones that stick out the most you and see what you come up with.

second: why would you list news articles when cnn does this and does it well?

The site is where people will be able to read latest headlines, technology news, we will also give foreign exchange rates, there will be Islamic section and a section for kids to play games and learn adn in fture we will add more services and features. This is what it is all about.

I do not know why it is happening? I am creating it in expression web and the layout on IE and firefox is different. Is there any solution of it? And I am using firefox 3 in which the layout is fine. can you also give me image how it looks in firefox 2?

mm...this (fx3) doesn't look like it's fine.

as to naming, it's kind of hard to come up with a name for something that's so general. it's probably better if you narrowed the subject down a bit.

No offense but the site has little focus, so it's really hard to suggest a name.

You have given me some tension. If I have the same firefox and you also have the same firefox then why different alignments of one page? Am I seeing a dream?

Now I do not work on site in Vista, for you information. The question is that why on my side the things are fine both in vista and in xp on both the browsers.

One other thing, as far as menus are concerned, when I increase the zoom of browser the menus position changes but everything remains same.

Just to let you know, the 'header' (Main | Latest News | Etc) moves around when you resize the browser window, so i expect that this is where your problem lies.

As for the name, i don't really get what the main point of the site is so it is difficult to choose a name....

Ok but what about the search box? It is also messed up in your browsers? Are you seeing in 100% view becuase I have noticed that when I zoom out, this is what I get in FF:

I tried the site and my site is fine in the browsers, I do not see any messing up there.
