Really enjoyed the creativity in many of the scenes. Liked the references to the original even more. This is definitely worth seeing if you liked the original, otherwise I would see it just for the visuals and the soundtrack.

Just finished seeing the movie -It's decent but it didn't have the big ending that I was hoping for, suggesting that there will be another movie.

I didn't get the feeling that they were suggesting another film (did i miss something?).

Nice to know they represented my home - filmed in vancouver! woot woot! :p

I love how people base their own opinion of a film without seeing it on someone else's opinion of a movie...because a "critic" says a movie is amazing or garbage, he MUST be right about it.

Anyways, I thought Tron was visually stunning and dripping with eye candy with some fairly standard plot lines which made for a believable story, and one amazing soundtrack!

Just came back from seeing it for the second time.

I can't get enough of this honestly; the soundtrack and visuals are just... Beautiful, mind-blowing, epic, visually and audibly orgasmic. Oh, and the story was good too :p

All the critics that gave this movie bad reviews should be sentenced to see the early screening of Justin Bieber's "Never Say Never"; that ought to put their perspective back in order.

just got back from seeing it, and i loved it. i dont know if the 3d added much to it, but the graphics are stunning, and there are just some simply awesome moments. the story, like the first tron, presents some interesting existential ideas but then kind of disregards them for the main adventure of escaping the grid.

what bothers me slightly is the heavy star wars vibe/parallels, which weren't bad, just distracting, and the very out of the blue, russell t davies' doctor who plot resolution.

oh and olivia wilde was adorable. it's nice to see her play a character who isn't self destructive in some way.

3.5 out of 5

I'm kind of upset that I paid extra to see it in 3d and like half the movie wasn't 3d. Sure that was by design and i understand why, but still feel a little ripped off. I did like the movie. it was noticeably slow in a few parts but overall it was great.

Movie; Good, thoe if you have already seen the original don't expect much more different other then a missing scene here and a added vehicle there.

Effects; Mucho Grande Eye-Candy

Oliva-Wilde; Awesome

CGI Bridges; Hes mouth just open's and closes, needs more fluid lip movement.

3D; What 3D? It had depth, but there was absolutly no reason to use the 3D effect. I saw non, and I know the projector system was working becuase the "First-Look" was 3D without a doubt. If a movie is going to be 3D, utilize it damnit. Just look at Avatar, nothing generally pops out at ya, but you can tell its 3D.

Conclusion; Don't get your panties in a bunch if you miss out on the 3D. Don't bother needing to see the original, the movies are almost identical.
