HTC slow to respond in tasks

Hey guys, sorry for the n00bish posts, but, since ive had my phone its been somewhat unresponsive, somtimes even not responding at all, and since the 6.1 update, i think its getting worse..

ROM: 3.28.405.0.WWE

Radio Version: 1.65.16.25

Memory

Storage: 119.27mb

In Use: 16.52mb

Free 102.65mb

Program: 85.32mb

In Use 35.55mb

Free: 49.77mb

Google Maps, Windows Live Search and tomtom6 are installed on my microsd card (2gb)

any idea what could be causing the slow down?

I presume that's a 3rd party ROM?? as it could be poorly written?

Have you previously SPL unlocked your phone using HardSPL 1.x so you can load different ROMs? If so, with the older HardSPL version and newer ROMs there are reported problems of screen freezes and slow responsiveness. When using the newer 6.1 ROMs its the newer HardSPL 3.x solves a lot of those problems and should be used. Since your using the Official HTC rom I'd suggest the

Also if you haven't performed a Hard Reset since flashing the ROM to the device I suggest that also.
