backdrifter
I'm going to make dessert for my coworkers tomorrow, and I have to decide on an interesting dessert! Anyone knows an interesting or authentic dessert recipe? Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/651368-suggest-me-a-dessert/ Share on other sites
Hum
Jell-o chocolate pudding :p ... add banana slices. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/651368-suggest-me-a-dessert/#findComment-589582757 Share on other sites
Hurmoth
Depending on how heavy you want the dessert to be, I have two of my favorites here: For a light dessert go with Chocolate Souffles: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/food-ne...cipe/index.html If you want something a little heavier, then the Chocolate Pound Cake is always a good choice: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/food-ne...cipe/index.html [edit] If you don't want that much chocolate, then you can always go the peanut butter route and have a wonderful Creamy Peanut Butter Pie: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/emeril-...cipe/index.html (still has chocolate, but not as much) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/651368-suggest-me-a-dessert/#findComment-589582785 Share on other sites

Dav-id
Lemon Meringue Pie. On my final day of work I baked a Guinness Cake and used icing to make it look like a very short and wide pint of guinness. But I guess I can try it out. Unfortunately there is no peanut butter culture here so can't even try that second one :) gelato or sorbet is good dessert :) Sorbet actually seems very neat. Creme Brulee with raspberrys. Easy to make and can do the night beforehand and stick in the fridge. That's also very nice.. Both sorbet and creme brulee seems appropriate for the weather. backdrifter
Lemon Meringue Pie. On my final day of work I baked a Guinness Cake and used icing to make it look like a very short and wide pint of guinness. We don't have Guinness here, can I use some other dark beer?
